Having tested it - the answer is yes Even on S&D matches which is a REALLY big shame! I've watched the other team diffusing and saw my C4 blinking in front of them and not been able to do a blinkin thing about it!!!

It's also great on Domination. Capture two flags, plant C4 on one of the flags and wait for the announcement "We're losing blah blah". Double tap and they're gone

I actually couldn't get used to claymores again when I finally got them back after re ranking. I kept hitting the wrong trigger to plant them

The MP5 with silencer is my new baby!! Had 58 kills and 9 deaths on wetworks playing sabotage with it, two airstrikes and a helicopter after eachother. Lovely jubbly!

Still not got round to using C4 though...

Hi guys, just thought I'd pick your collective brains.

Has anyone worked out the best level to get the "Bird on the Ground" achievement?

I've been trying to nail the Hind on the level "Game Over" with an RPG, but that seems to be impossible. I would have thought the troop transport Heli's on "One Shot, One Kill" would be ideal, but i haven't spotted any RPGs on that level.

Anyone got any thoughts? Surefire strategies?

Or is it back to trying to hit the Hind with a combination of the force and copious swearing?

Hi Guys, quick question...i changed my router yesterday and everything is working fine connecting to the net but when trying to play on line it tries to find a game for a while and then sticks me in the lobby alone after a minute or so other players join in.

I usually 99% of the time join a lobby full of people but today each game i tried ( HQ, TD, free for all) i would be in the lobby alone at first.

is this Xbox live playing up?? COD4 playing up or my router??? Everything works fine and game runs as normal (me dying!!)

Also does mean i'm now the host of the game? As my first game of trhe day ended in a draw as host left, even though i was the first in the lobby!

It sounds like Live is playing up to me. I would check to make sure that your router is'nt blocking any of your connections if the proble persist's. Iv'e been Host of a game a few times and i can tell you it's alot of fun,i finally got to have a few games in a row without having to join in another game halfway through and i didn't have the fear of the host leaving just because he/she isnt doing too good.

@meandi22- You seem to have a habit of blowing up your team mates don't you

Cheers for that WoodsMonk. Shot down a heli to get Bird On The Ground then ran around like an absolute nutter knifing every enemy in site trying yet again to get Three Of A Kind. Eventually after a couple of deaths I finally got Three Of A Kind !

Hi when i am in a lobby how do i know who is the host of the game ?

I can never tell, but just as you start a game before the round starts,bring up a player list and the host will always have full connection and every other player will have the lowest connection(1 red bar)

What's the point in Veteran though it seems to bloody well impossible. Just started " The Bog " level and been killed right away 3 time's now !! Argh

I've been the host of quite a few games lately. A lot more so than usual. What it means is waiting a few minutes until the room fills up with enough players to get the game going. If everything else is working normally for you I wouldn't complain. I'm delighted because it means I can get a few games in of different maps rather than be kicked after one, try and join another, and get the same map I've just done!!

As for time it said "host ended the game" when you hadn't, that was possibly just a glitch then.

With the 'who's the host' question, if you're first in the lobby and when people join as 'matched players' does that mean you're the host?

I've fixed my router problems & will be available for games, in the evening, for the rest of the week. I want to get the green cross Prestige badge as I'm sick of the one before it. I can't even make out what it is as I don't have a HDTV.

Yes when you get in a lobby first it means you're the host of that room. Means you can get a few games in a row!

My OH was working night shift from October til Christmas. That was why I wouldn't be on as much in the evening. But nonetheless, I'm actually on a lot more than I thought I was gonna be. So everyone got stuck with me a bit longer than I thought they would

I'm getting much better at this now and am finishing regularly in the top3. I only really play free-for-all but it just goes to show that the more you play the better you get.

I seem to have good and bad streaks. The bad ones normally coincide with playing with you lot. Maybe it's just the pressure of being in such esteemed company. It's more enjoyable than taking my chance with the unwashed masses on Xbox Live, though.

I also have maps where I get the crap beaten out of me such as wetworks. Whenever I play there I always get thrashed but when I'm on Vacant and a few others I finish top 3 very often. Anyone got any advice on wetworks because wherever I go I get shot down

Wetworks is one of my favourites. Especially for Search &&Destroy & Domination.

The best advice is to stay close the sides whenever possible to avoid getting flanked. A silencesd weapon is very handy as it won't give away your location & you won't miss the range that you lose as it's mostly close quarters fighting anyway.

Check for enemies breaking through to your side of the map and take them out whilst their isolated from their team mates.

And keep Night Vision on at all times.
