My favourite past time is killing teamkillers.
There were 2 people on hardcore s & d (bloc)on the same clan killing team mates at spawn and laughing and screaming down the mic. The next round i ran away and hid, as soon as they they thought i was gone came out of my spot and pistoled both of them i then hid in swimming pool and went to make a cup of tea while the round ran out. Hearing them hurl abuse at me after was reward enough

Here's a story that'll cheer minnimo up!
The other day i was playing Hardcore search and destroy on vacant and i was on the offensive team (Bomb planter's.) I ran to the left towards the large warehouse entrance and decided to 'cook' a grenade so that i could suprise the enemy, but i held on to it for too long........ what i did'nt realise at the time is that the entire team had followed me to the left and were all stood right by me! I killed myself and my entire team in a matter of seconds ![]() ![]() ....i just wish minnimo had been there to see it. ![]() edit: It also landed me negative feedback..i'm now at a wopping 93% avoided ![]() |

Has anyone else noticed since the problems have been working themselves out, it's rare and in between you actually get matched up with US players?
I know they were thinking of separating the servers like on the PS3, don't know if it actually happened though. But it seems like it. It also takes longer to be matched up with people. If you're first in the lobby you can be waiting up to 2-3 mins for another ONE person to come in then they all come piling in. Just something I've noticed lately. |

I played for a bit last night & had americans in every game.
Maybe you just got lucky (or unlucky, depending on your preference ).I agree with the hosting issue, though. It does take a while for people to come in. I've also been thrown into a lot of games which have already started, recently. Which is annoying as you can't back out without forfeting the match & more often than not your team is losing heavily (which is why there's a free space I suppose ).Maybe the priority has been changed to fill games that are underway first as this didn't seem to happen as much last year. |

That was my experience of playing it last night too. And i'd add that it was definitely "unlucky" for me that i was playing with a squad of Americans as i seemed to get stuck playing Domination and Sabotage with people who didn't have a clue what they were supposed to be doing ![]() I got slotted into a Free-For-All that had 58 seconds left to run the other day

When I was playing yesterday, Some guy from the UK had this as he clan tag [9/11]
, everyone in the lobby were calling him sick (most of them were from the UK) and that they were giving him bad feedback. Serves him right

Some, in my opinion, more openly offensive. Why people try and get around censored words is beyond me and shows their mind set. Unfortunately for me a lot seem to be UVF IRA LVF and all that crap. I refuse to play games with people like that unless I have people in with me. It's unfair to ask others to leave but I just don't get people who think that's clever. |

I know a lot of people on Live are teenagers and they get a kick out of being 'controversial' but there's a line you don't cross. |

I've seen a few of these. The BNP clan are the worst I've come accross. Not justbecause of their tag but there were a couple of Germans in the lobby and they were racially abused by these tossers, calling them Nazis etc & not in a jokey way. I reported them & left, which was a first for me on Live as I'm not easily offended.
I know a lot of people on Live are teenagers and they get a kick out of being 'controversial' but there's a line you don't cross. Nothing seems off limits nowadays. It's sad really. But then again men are just as bad at it too. My point was the line being crossed by teenagers. They're obviously getting that it's ok from somewhere. |

I don't think that line exists for younger people now (God I feel so old saying that), by that I mean teenagers.

They're obviously getting that it's ok from somewhere. I'll admit that i can go off on one with other players, but only in retalliaton. I would never randomly start an argument with an other player. Microsoft should start cracking down on abusive people and start disabling accounts. If some of the people iv'e spoken to on live said the same thing to me in person i'd give them a smack in the mouth for thier trouble. Some peolple hide behind thier internet when in real life they're 14 year old fat kids. |

I believe that in USA there is some watchdog investigating racial abuse on MS Live. I think it said that 81% of players have encountered it at some point.
I can see 2008 being the year of the lawsuits against MS for not taking a much more pro-active stance against verbal abuse, but then again, what can they do that wont ruin the experience short of banning under 18's from using a mic on Live and hoping that over 18's can actually be considered mature enough to not be abusive for kicks because of the fact their age implies they are now an adult. End of the day, adults are meant to be just that, adult!!! It isnt MS fault that 80% of people in america cant seem to be it. |

Personally I think that being able kick players with a majority vote like you can with maps needs to be in place. Especially in games like Halo3 and COD4.
At least then you have a little control over it. But I don't think that's down to MS either. |

I mean, why bother? All the rest of us do is turn down the volume controls on our headsets. I had to laugh recently when one kid got really annoyed and sweary because no one had told him to "shut up" after he'd been screeching constantly for well over a minute. Maybe silence is the best way to deal with these people? Starve them of the recognition they crave?

I hate it when idiots put their mic next to their stereos & try to play music through it (usually that Bloodhound Gang 'Discovery' Channel song for some reason.)
Or the ones that chant "vote, vote, vote". I love it when people forget to turn their mic off when talking on the phone. ![]() There was one guy who's girlfriend called to ask him to come pick her up & he said he was too busy doing his maths homework. We all shouted down the mic telling her he was lieing. I think she heard as he left quite soon after that.

It is the people that have arguments thinking their mics are off, with their wives about when they are next gonna get a BJ that are the most annoying!!!
