Be careful JX23 & Redgengis are ringers....
They wait around to lure noobs in and own them - Only kidding - But they are both pretty good There is a good spread of exp and ranks among us - but we are all there to have a good time not to ridicule each other. A lot of the time we team up against the public in matches. See you there Steve My PSN is satmos Feel free to add me in ![]() ![]() ![]()

I played a little this morning before my connection went down(sorry chrism
) Has anyone noticed that the game seems to be full of french players alately or is it just in the mornings? Also i wish they would do something about the damn spawn killers on s&d. This morning my team was against a full clan of 'noob tube' users on ambush. I tell no lie, at least 6 grenades came flying over the hill at the start followed by another 6 grenades. Every match was over within seconds as most of my team were newbies so they did'nt know wtf was going on! I managed to escape the onslaught twice but 6 against 1 isn't a fair match when you're trying to plant the bomb. ![]() On a brighter topic, I'll be on most of the night sunday if anyones intrested? Damn work has been keeping me away from my box alately so i havn't played in the evenings for a while. Damn boss and his stuipid rules about bringing in game's consoles to work ![]()

COMMUNITY MAPPING CONTEST (PC)
We have launched the official Mod Tools for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the PC and to celebrate, we're holding a 'Community Mapping Contest' which allows you, the community, to take map making into your own hands and create custom multiplayer maps for the #1 selling game of 2007. What's your dream map? Wide open spaces perfect for sniping, or close quarters combat with plenty of cover to bound back and forth from? Maybe a nice mixture with plenty of avenues to attack from and some perfect choke points you can ambush from with the right amount of team work. Whatever you think makes a good multiplayer map, we want to see it. Most importantly, we want your best work. On March 31st, we're going to be choosing our favorite community made maps and award the map makers of our favorites picks with special prizing and opportunities which we can't announce just yet but will be in the very near future (probably within a week). However the clock is ticking to get your map designed, as I said, we'll be choosing our favorite community made custom multiplayer maps on March 31st. Wonder if the winner/s map/s get chosen for the future map packs. |

This could be a very clever way of letting the public make the maps, IW just polish up any code and releasing it cross platform for free. I could understand them charging for new maps if they were doing all the work, but letting the public do it and just selecting the best 6 and just making them workable would cut out a lot of the expense to IW and then there would be no reason to charge for it.
Then again, MS for one would probably hope to cash in on the 2 million COD4 owners that are gagging for some new maps!!! |

Maybe they intended the game to come out before October the 31st and had this map planned as an extra map on the PC version, but the game got put back, so they worked on the 'Christmas Crash' level and ditched the Halloween idea.?

Some still do, but I rarely play online much these days, with the execption of warhawk. I seem to always get interrupted or called out!
I just liked it for the gameplay and story. COD4 has much better online play than 2 though. |

I had the best time on COD4 last night. I played the whole night non-stop game after game because i was the host and i didn't end the game!
![]() I played tons and tons of team deathmatch, averaging 30+ kills per game - i even raised my ratio by 0.05 (which is extremely hard to do when you've got 47,000 kills!) so i'm back down in the 450 area on the kills leaderboard now. The hard thing is, when i play, i kill loads of people and slowly gain places on the leaderboards, but when i get up every morning and check it, i've fallen back down just as many places as i gained the previous day! so, the hard part is getting enough kills in a day which allows you to gain so many places up the leaderboard that the people around you on the leaderboard wont overtake you. ![]() A couple of people from here popped in from time to time, too. |

I couldn't ever imagine playing all day/night on this game as it stresses me out after an hour or two. I do love COD4 but I have to keep putting another game on after a session to help me relax again. It's a pretty intense game and it requires a lot of concentration so it would completely drain me playing for that long. Some people at the top of the leaderboards seem to have devoted their lives to it

![]() Of course it helps when you don't have a life to begin with. ![]() I haven't met a single gold cross prestige player who isn't a total idiot.
