One USA kid a while back said to his mates during a match (and might have been just exagerating, but as he was virtually top prestige it would make sense) that he spent 16 hours a day every single day for the last 3 weeks. His mate asked him "what about when you need to toilet?" and he said he tries to go when its between matches on the lobby and his mum brought all his meals to him in his bedroom.

Pathetic!!!!

Anybody else find that their Claymores aren't as powerful as they used to be? Now either i got rushed by 3 players on Ambush at the weekend or one guy got into a building past 2 I'd planted and still had enough health left to win a point blank firefight with me... and he didn't have Juggernaut!!!

Maybe a little, I normally plant 1 near a door then another about 10ft away. That way they are still injured by the first so the second will finish them off

Yeah, thats what I always do.

These two were in a doorway and then at the top of a flight of stairs. So it was "click, boom" then a couple of seconds later footstep on the stairs and "click, boom" again. Me spinning round to cover the doorway (just in case ) and matey boy charging in and shooting me

Sometimes people get lucky! I was using the claymores alot last night as I was trying to earn the XP for the sniper challenges! I'm getting alot better but its still not as fun as the old run and gun! Plus everyone pretty much knows the Sniper places

The blast range is quite small on claymores so if you're sprinting when you run into it you won't get damaged at all and if you start to sprint once you hear the click you can sometimes escape with just a small amount of damage.

Never works for me though, they always seem to get me.

I jump like a bloody idiot when i hit a claymore! For all the good it does me.

Gives people a laugh watching though I guess! My body going flying through the air because I've given myself a boost off the ground the start with before being blown up!

They should have slow-mo kill cams that you can save & send to the victim.

My favourites are when you shoot someone on a balcony or looking out a window and they end up hanging of the edge.

BTW no hard feelings for last night. It's just "You killed me so I killed you." is the reason I gave up online FPS a while back so I thought I'd leave before I did something silly like cook a grenade and kill the whole team.

I can assure you the 2 times I blew you up were entirely accidental, even though it may not have looked like it.

That's ok. I'm glad there's no hard feelings. I was playing around last night. But didn't know whether you'd really taken offence at it. I'm glad you didnt Nearly had a heart attack when you disappeared offline immediately afterwards though

I don't intend on killing people in own team, i've taken martydom off now for hardcore (to be fair, when i remember too). And don't throw as many random grenades. So hopefully the only time I have a chance of killing a team mate is when their name delays in showing up (which SUCKS!)

I know I've managed to dodge a few by running.

My fav was on pipeline coming from the underground tunnel to the hut at the beggining of the level. The guy placed one on the stairs and I just silenced shot it and walked right up to the back of him went prone and crotch shot him. But the amount of time I spent lining the shot up he must have been p'd watchin the kill cam

Aye I managed to get 3-4 ppl killed as we were all just about to approach a corner I was peeking around while kneeling and went to throw a flash bang only for a team mate to stand infront of my line of sight.. It went off and the 3-4 of us were standing as a group for the other team to just run out and spray lead lol

What was funny yesterday was when DrivenBiffa was complaining about sabotage (as we were planting the bomb straight away) and Minnimo said, Sabotage is about planting the bomb not getting loads of kills and exp, If you want to get loads of kills and exp play Team Deathmatch 5 seconds later he left the game, Classic!

Of course it helps when you don't have a life to begin with.

I haven't met a single gold cross prestige player who isn't a total idiot.
Hang on a minute, it was Saturday night, at midnight, what else am i going to do!?

I've got down to 365 on the kills leaderboard now.

I didnt mean to be so rude, and it wasnt so much directed at him as it was to the frickin 14 year old who wouldn't shut up ( who also left incidently) I apologised to him afterwards.

It winds me up people complaining about that! It's point of that type of match! Unless agreed before hand with whole lobby not to plant until last minutes then its every team for itself as far as Im concerned. I sucked at it last night though. Hate the map (cant remember the name, but it has the bus and the buildings all down left and right hand side).

People seem to play Sabotage as a sort of a long game of Team Deathmatch which is annoying. I love the fact it does usually last ages, which is why i play it.. but when people complain of the bomb being planted too early is just stupid when that is the whole point of the game. If people want to upgrade unlock the marksman challenges for their weapons or collect XP points, like Woodsmonk said, play Team Deathmatch.

I don't like that map too much, but I had my proudest moment on there.

3 airstrikes and 2 helicopters

Got 2 helicopters on Showdown at one point too but not a map I love either.

Weird.
