That can be a mean map ![]() I personally like this map.. and im actually starting to like all of them the more i play them. I used to detest Countdown and Bog.. but they dont seem so bad anymore. I suppose its down to knowing what gun to use etc. |

People seem to play Sabotage as a sort of a long game of Team Deathmatch which is annoying. I love the fact it does usually last ages, which is why i play it.. but when people complain of the bomb being planted too early is just stupid when that is the whole point of the game. If people want to upgrade unlock the marksman challenges for their weapons or collect XP points, like Woodsmonk said, play Team Deathmatch.
Its better when you keep hold of the bomb and dont plant it until the last minute or few seconds, otherwise, it is extremely pointless having a game lasting under a minute - the loading time took longer! |

Does anyone know how they work out the match bonus amounts?
It seems to relate to how many points you've got individually or as a team & is then scaled according to your rank. It would stop a lot of tension, with regards, to Sabotage if the match bonuses for winning/losing were fixed, no matter how many long the game lasted. Surely you should get more points for planting the bomb quickly, not less?

The way I look at it is if you play this game, its to plant the bomb asap. If the opposite team put up a good enough fight then it makes it more interesting.
But I am not going to grab the bomb, camp out, let people get their kills and then try and plant it unless, again, it's been agreed before hand and everyone is in agreement. If the bomb is planted fast by either team it means you were crap at defending that time and need to play better defence next time to make it last longer. It's par for the course with that game type that the loading time will be longer than the playing time. But again, if you want it to last longer, then defend better. |

But it is too easy. I could plant the bomb in less than a minute against anyone, i'm always good for a handfull of kills before i die.
I just take the bomb, go and sit at one of the places where to plant it, and see who can take it off me. That way, if i die, the bomb wont move very far, as i'll respawn and nick it off them! |

I planted the bomb in less than 30 seconds on 'Disctrict' the other day - i think JX23 was on my team, and nobody complained, although i had the most points, with an astonishing 80 points!
! Now i have done the challenge I wont be playing sabotage for a while! I'm trying to get the 5 kills with one airstrike challenge + airbourne so im playing alot of ground wars |

I didnt mind when someone planted early as I just wanted the win (i was on about 30 of 50 needed for the XP) If every game had lasted 30 mins that means i would have had to play about 30/40 hours of sabotage just to complete the challenge! screw that

Ahh i remember now that you said you were going for those challenges.
The thing is everyone skips bloc, playing about 30/40 games over the weekend i only got it twice and both times i couldnt get a 2 kill streak it was soo frustrating as i have had at leats 5-6 kill streaks there before. Once in particular I would have got it if it werent for a reload!! |

to get the golden guns do you have to do every challenge with in that gun type? i.e sub machine gun. And can you put scopes on the golden guns?
And yep, you can put scopes/silencers/rifle-mounted grenade launchers on the golden guns, just like normal. I wish they update the game, so when you've completed the challenges, where it says 'completed' next to the weapon, it should tell you how many kills and headshots you've got with it, continually updating with the stats. I've got about 50,000 kills now, but only about 5,000 headshots, i'd like to know how many and with what weapon i've got them all from. Could be interesting. I can't remember when or where i got the two kill streak in mid air challenge at all, but i have shot a few people while jumping, i guess i must have been stood on a crate or something like you mentioned. |

I never used to like Bloc but it's slowly becoming one of my favourites. It's fun to run through the buildings throwing flashbangs and taking the enemy out with a silenced SMG.
![]() It's not the sniper friendly map everyone says it is. If you camp you won't last very long.Crossfire & Overgrown are the worst maps for getting shot from a mile away. Unless you're an idiot an run accross the middle you shouldn't get sniped very often. |

Nah i think she's referring to Crossfire as Bog only has buildings on the one side.

I suppose its down to knowing what gun to use etc. Or do you settle down to one particular gun and roll with that? I use the M16 for most of my games and have started with the g36c because gettin annoyed with the spray and pray ppl. |

Do you guys/gals change your guns often depending on the maps?
Or do you settle down to one particular gun and roll with that? I use the M16 for most of my games and have started with the g36c because gettin annoyed with the spray and pray ppl. I use a certain gun for certain maps, my classes are a P90, MP5, G3, M4 and Mini-Uzi. Basically, i've figured out the range of the maps and pick the best gun suited to how i play for each map. The G3 is my medium to long range gun (you really dont need a sniper rifle) M4 is for maps like 'Backlot' where it can be close and medium shooting, the M4 has very little recoil, so taking out people on turrents or in sniping spots is easier with this gun. Small maps i go for the P90, and the MP5 with UAV jammer for maps like 'Overgrown' where there is plenty of places to hide and flank.

I use silenced Mp5 (& sometimes the druganov with the overkill perk) for maps like shipment, crash, crossfire, ambush. I use an uzi or ak74u for vacant. Ill use an m16 for strike and district. When im playing domination or headquarters though ill probably use an LMG and just spray like mad lol. I have to say, the MP5 is the most common gun i use though. |

I have: Long range set up - M16/M14 with scope. I prefer these to snipers as the range is generally good enough & you can still see the radar so you can be more aware of approaching enemies. A Mid range set up - AK47/G36C. A short range set up - Uzi/P90 A stealth set up with Uzi/P90 with UAV Jamme r& Dead Silence A shotgun setup - Just for fun. ![]() I generally use stopping power, 3 frags (once unlocked) & Last Stand. I used to be a martyrdom junkie but last stand is very useful in allowing you to complete streaks. It's annoying when you die on 4 or 5 kills so a chance to get the air strike/helicopter is worth taking. You can also set off the air strike in Last Stand so if you're quick & lucky you can get the helicopter before you die.

So would u advise me getting away from my m16 love and try other guns? I tried using the ak74-u for really close range maps like wetworks/vacant but that and a silencer made the gun a no hope on anythin of distance.
Maybe its my playing style and the need for a gun with distance but i do notice that when it gets up close on maps like strike I can get my A handed to me. |

It usually only takes 2 shots to kill & if you aim for the upper chest you'll get a headshot quite often on the second shot, due to the recoil. You have to play differently with a short range weapon. You need to get quite close to them, without being detected and then aim for the head. If this doesn't suit you I'd stick with the assault rifles/machine guns. |

If you want to try another long range wepaon I'd go for the M14. The iron sight is horrible but once you get your red dot/ACOG you'll be laughing.

Would you recommend a better silenced gun? I went with the ak74-u becuase the dmg on it is so good that I wouldnt need stopping power and frees up the UAV Jammer. I just like the idea of being able to take ppl down at a distance strike/district/countdown/overgrown but would love to get up close. Maybe might start with the overkill and team up my m16 and a smg. |
