Ive never actually owned a phone headset, even though i get a new phone about 3 times a year. Never really needed one as i dont drive
plus they make you look like star trek people.Now i want one to sound like a chipmunk like my little brother!

When I'm on it I mean.
Some pre-recorded taunts to throw at the enemy would be nice.

Well I signed in this morning. And put on COD. And what came up? Disconnected from Xbox Live. Yep. Updates here!!
Though, I've only just started playing so not too sure on whats been updated.
But you can not control the camera views when dead and spectating
Edit: quick mute is also there, just bring up the score board and hit A on anyone you want to shut up!!
-Infinity ward have a logo whenever you are waiting on a map loading in the bottom right hand corner
- Went into private lobby to check out if there were new maps. Couldn't see them on the list.
- Death scenes (when you're shot dead) seems a lot bouncier or something?? I dunno. Maybe someone else can describe that.

I also believe there's a new compass above the map
But I don't pay too much attention so that may have always been there.
Is it just me or is the menu before getting in game slightly slanted?

I hope there is a clearer compass as the existing one is a bit hard to see - but it just might be my old eyes playing up! I would like to be able to say 'enemy moving in from the north' or whatever, rather than 'they're coming past the shop near the car next to the rubble'.

Are you saying you can't control the camera angle when spectating someone? or that you can?
Also is the now a C4/Claymore Killcam? Is there a killcam on airstrikes?
Claymore and Grenade Cams (and apparently Air strike ones too but yet to see it) - Claymore Cam shows the claymore on the ground and rotates around it depending on where your moving in from and then BANG.
Spectator Cam (when you die on S&D) allows you to move the right stick and it moves the camera around an alive teammate. A bit like Mass Effect or Tomb Raider style gameplay where you can rotate the camera around your teammates body. It isnt really that effective unless they are fairly stationary to be honest.
Mute option is available on the Scoreboard during the game... just press select, move the curser up or down to select the annoying twerp and press A mutes him, however the use of it is limited as it only mutes that person for that particular game, and then unmutes him again when it goes to Lobby for the next game! I guess the idea is it is a form of temporary quick mute during a game and you fully mute him via his gamecard when you get back to the lobby.
When you die the Kill Cam now has Red bars rather than just black like it was. Seems a bit more crap for that to be honest but i guess it is to differentiate between kill cam and real play.

Compass was always there and i didnt notice any noticeable change to it but will look carefully next time.

Someone today said they had received a kill cam for it but maybe they were lying.... i personally only saw the Claymore cam today but i was only on for an hour!

Can someone answer me if you can roate the camera or free roam when specating once you have died in say S & D
The patch is out for 360 version... oddly enough it isn't on any game journalistic websites at the moment?!
Just wait until peak hours when there are more than 17 people using PSN at the same time... then it rears it's ugly head.

Just rotate, not free roaming.
Right stick only and it rotates around the guy similar to when your looking at your man on R6 Vegas when your equiping his weapons, or on Mass Effect or Tomb Raider when you move the camera stick.
There is no Zoom in or out either, only rotate

PS3 patch is in certification right now and will be available within days... apparently Sony are less rigourous in their testing that MS and have a very quick turnaround.
