I think if there's a team kill within the first 5 seconds of a game then that player should be killed for the rest of the game and the person killed should come back to life if it's a search and destroy game. Most team kills done on purpose are right at the start.

Now I've played for a long time, the annoying parts are really getting to me
For example the team balance is god awful...playing headquarters you get players with 500 or more points put on a team with the next highest scores, and all the lower scores on the opposite team...anyone know how it's supposed to work? Is it simply random by number of players or by rank? It makes it impossible to play headquarters because a dominant team is always together... |

depends if the good team are a party or not. If they are then its just going to let any random newbie into the game to make up the sides. If everyone is random (such as that mercenary team deathmatch or whatever its called that doesnt allow parties) then the mathmaking "should" be a lot better.

Think the DS clan needs to go over these and see if we can make use of them:
Ambush Backlot Bloc Bog Countdown Crash Crossfire District Downpour Overgrown Pipeline Showdown Strike Vacant Wetwork No Shipment map, its hardly worth the hassle i guess. And the new maps are yet to be done as far as I am aware due to their multiple floor levels. |

I had a game on broadcast and was only getting 10 pts a kill isn't that what it was before.

It's double XP through tomorrow and then the variety pack maps enters general rotation on Thursday. I might actually get to play Killhouse then. Why it's not being played now I don't know. Sizewise it's bigger than Shipment and is roughly the same dimensions as Wetwork so size shouldn't really be an issue. Even then they should have put it on the rotation anyway seeing as we did actually pay for four maps

Four Zero Two says that the double XP ends Wednesday morning, but then again he said it ended Monday and Tuesday mornings

My first impressions are it's a top quality map, second only to Broadcast for my favourite of the new ones.While Killhouse is bigger than Shipment I can understand now why they've restricted it to 1v1s & Team Tactical. It's not meant to be complete madness like Shipment & is only about half the length of Wetwork so it would be total chaos with full teams. |

I have to say now I'm becoming more used to the maps I'm actually enjoying them.
But I do think we need a lot more practice on them as we get our butts kicked as a team! Also, I think 1 or 2 of us need to become good at sniping. I think a few sniping private matches are in order to get people at least USED to snipers. Does anyone agree? Creek would be a good map if some of us could back up runners with snipers. |

I like sniping but could do with a bit more practice to get my skills up a bit on certain maps. I'm at home on Overgrown, Crash & Ambush but tend not to snipe on the others to try and contribute more to the team.
I could use some target practice on Wetwork & Vacant as teams aren't necessarily expecting snipers on this level but you need to be good as you don't have much of a window to hit the enemy. Are you suggesting a DS hunting party?

I am pretty crap as a sniper, but I like to use a G3 with Acog scope on big hardcore levels because of the long range of it.
I might have a play with a sniper on some maps tonight to see how it goes. |

I'm usually chuffed if I get three in a match hehe ![]() I would like to become better though. I was in Creek for a team deathmatch when they first came out and I hid in the wee shed at the bottom of the map. No one for at least the first half then all of a sudden they spawned in front of me and I sniped them all ![]() Ended up with a 15 kill streak ![]() ![]() But like I said, I would like to become better at it on different maps. |
