I think out of all the lady celebs she is the one who is the most genuine and whether people like that or not is of course up to them.

I think you can read Vincent's face and body language like a book and if he didn't like her and get on with her he certainly wouldn't be holding her hand all the time, saying he was in love with her and kissing her shoulders etc. Stephanie looked really upset for Vincent when they had their farewell dance and when they got their scores on Saturday she held his hand and said "I am sorry", she looked genuinely disappointed for him. BTW, how cute was it when they were hugging all the way through Letita and Darren's part of the dance-off in the background.

God I am sooo sorry everyone I am just going on and on and on again ...”

When I watched their QS the second time, I thought it was really weird she was saying 'sorry' to Vincent when she was clearly relieved that she got all sixes. Then I realised that she probably realised Vincent probably expected much more of himself and she felt she somehow failed him that way.

That was so sweet of her to say to Vincent...

edit to add: the screencaps of Steph and Vincent in ITT (Monday) is already posted in the screencaps thread...

Cheeky you've restored my faith a little.

I popped into and (out very quickly) the Vincent thread and I was truly angry at the continuing bashing of Stephanie. One person even posted that they could understand Stephanie fans being upset at their SLAGGING of Stephanie.

Firstly, I'm not really a fan per se of Stephanie's but I truly admired her on SCD -she was a breath of fresh air from all the would be divas (male and female). She did look terrified under the spotlight, she attempted to thank Vincent before Bruce cut her off and the relationship between Stephanie and Vincent was there for anyone to see it. And even after ITT there are still some who can't stop bitching!

Why is it necessary to SLAG anyone off? Yes, you can criticise but slagging people speaks volumes about the person doing it and frankly there's a few people on DS that I'm glad I'll never meet. I know I'm losing the plot her but I just find the nastiness so unnecessary.

I was gutted when Ian left early last year but I would never have taken it out on Mica -- and frankly, I think if Vincent ever read some of the posts on the Vincent thread I think he would be truly disappointed in some of his so called fans. I daresay I'll be slagged off for this post but sometimes you've got to call it like you see it.

I totally agree with you MacHeather and I am one of the biggest Vincent fans around.

I have often thought if I were a celeb or for example I was on Big Brother or something some people would probably be really really offended with some of the things I might inadvertantly say or do and once you said them or done them you can't always redeem yourself. 99% of the time when I say or do something the last thing I want to do is upset ANYONE and I think that is true of Stephanie and Vincent. Sometimes people just say things off the cuff or they come out wrong.

We ALL have a dig at people and a moan every now and then but I can't stand real bitchy bitching regardless of who is doing it, on the forum or off the forum. I have lots of opinions about Kelly and Letitia and some of them aren't very nice but the pair of them are only human and if I put myself in their position how would I act on tv?

I apologise in advance if any of my posts upset anyone, please feel free to pull me up over anything I say that offends you.

I'm so annoyed they have been voted off. Apart from the fact that they were definitely not the worse dancers of the night, for me they were hands down the two funniest people on the whole show. I thought that their sense of humour was great...

Cheeky ---- You didn't cause any offence --like I said, you actually restored my faith in DS posters.

I agree we all have our bitchy moments but there's no need to be nasty. Some of things that have been posted would be extremely hurtful if they were read by the pro-dancers and celebs. Whether they read them or not, they are all fed back info on what's happening with the forums so like you said, we do need to put ourselves in others shoes and ask how we'd feel.

Thanks La R I caught most of it - lovely memories of Tenko, and Stephanie was absolutely gorgeous. Elegant, witty and poised - and Paul and other guests told her she 'woz robbed' on SCD

Aw it was great wasn't it, she looked amazing! Dyed her hair red, and it looked fab!

I thought she looked soooo different from her Tenko days too, I think she developed the glamour puss look as she got more mature, some women do.
