I wouldn't mind a coupld of trips to the South of France, it's only a couple of hours on a plane, no more than driving from London to Manchester for rehearsals.

I do know what you mean though, but surely that would be up to the BBC to tell the celebs what is acceptable and turn down those celebs where they think too much traveling would be involved in training.”

I just think the BBC didn't "think through" the Roger Black situation. I suspect. it's very much a "one man band" operation.

Not appearing to being picky but,
You can't "legally" get from London to Manchester in two hours. A good time during the day would be three, I've done it and you'd often be breaking the speed limit in many places 'cos of how congested is the M6.

Travelling to the South of France "door to door" would take the best part of half a day.

Just maybe he flew (in a plane, of course)?

lol ... a bit picky perhaps, my point was that getting a plane to another country can sometimes be quicker than travelling by road in England

Yes he may have done, but I was responding to someone who mentioned driving to Manchester.

Oh come on - the pros have always followed the celebs around as they do their day jobs. There were clips of Lilia appearing on stage doing a twirl with Aled as he did his concert tours, Erin going to Wales and Denmark, and camilla following both Roger Black and James Martin around as they did the motgage and bill-paying day jobs which made them celebs in the first place.

Believe it or not - there are dance studios and church/ village halls all over the country which can and have been used by contestants for practice sessions.

Depending on what time the snooker starts Willie will have plenty of time to fit in a few hours training every day - if he wants to!

Not wishing to"lock horns" over this but the answer is always in "how many hours they put in." It gets "flagged" up now and again on SCDT2 so maybe we'll find out how many Willie does compared with some of the others.

I mentioned Roger Black as he didn't put in the hours.

I agree that they usually quote how many hours each celeb does on the ITT show but it doesn't necessarily mean that the person who puts in the most hours is the best dancer. You can put in 24 hours a day training but if you don't have any ability for dancing all the training in the world isn't going to make you good.

A lot is going to depend on the celebs schedule as to how many hours they can do. Obviously someone like Penny who doesn't seem to have another job will be available to train more than the likes of Kate and Gethin who have live TV shows to do.

I didn't say "practice makes perfect."

Just that if you aren't there you'll learn nothing.
Enough practice has to be done on the particular dance so that the steps can be performed without thinking. Then it's down to interpretation.

Having to think under pressure ain't an ideal situation.

Now that would be interesting

If that is the case who is being the girl and who is leading. Doubt it's Willie he never led against Steve when he used to play him

Has the BBC taken into consideration the Carbon Footprint of all these professional dancers jetting off to dance with their celebrity partners?
They were very keen on showing us that families solar panels on Breakfast this morning and the melting ice in the Arctic on tonight's news.

Or Rod Himself flying in every Saturday night on his private jet, flying back to LA on Saturday night, and then coming back again on Sunday night for the results.

So Roger made the mistake of only going to the South of France.

I know Brendan Cole has a mole, Nicole Cutler has a butler and Ian Waite is always a bit late.
I don't know anything about Lilia though.
