Stop complicating matters. Speaking for yourself and not 'people'. And stop putting such petty conditions like 'off' switches on everything when it's all theoretical at this stage anyway.

Are you, at this stage, asking them NOT to include a preview? Yes or no?

ROFL

That is the funniest thing I have seen all day. And I don't answer loaded questions.

As I suspected. When it comes to the crunch, you're a complete time-waster. You don't really answer questions, loaded or otherwise.

Well if you bothered to read the Panasonic section you'd know that Panasonic users keep moaning that it can't be switched off.

So NO like it just as it is with no preview.

Think of it this way by the time you've decoded the stream to preview it you might as well just play it normally.......

1. But you can't see all the previews on one screen.
2. I attached the proviso that the processor was powerful enough so that the system didn't slow down.

Anyway,at least we've got 1 person with the courage to answer the question. So we've got 1 vote asking Topfield to stop coding (if it has already started) of the previewer.

Anyone else?

Still not bothered to read my original post on this thread then where I stated my position?

This is the consolidation section, because the previous section was confusion.

Vote now or stop wasting everyone's time.

Don't worry pet. As you may have noticed I have plenty of my time to waste today.

OK so now your intentions are quite clear. I'm ignoring this.

Anyone else want to vote?

If I was going to choose a favourite feature to have on a new machine, I'd have multiple outputs (so that the Toppy could send different channels/recordings to different TVs around the house).

That would be cool!

You don't even appear to be sure exactly what you want people to vote on. First you assumed everyone agreed.

Then you said they were confused, and asked if they wanted a feature or not.

And now you're apparently turning it into a vote on whether or not someone should stop doing a task that you have no information or evidence to suggest they might ever have started.

You, yourself, have said many times when whining about this, that, or the other "failing" of Topfield that you're speaking for ordinary people. But yet you don't think anyone else should be allowed to speak for "people" ?

The best thing to do is probably to wait and see what the spec for the TF5810 is when it arrives, rather than try to start lots of pointless threads about it based on very little information.

I don't see much point in voting within this thread; it would be like trusting The Sun to run a referendum on the EU.

It's clear. This is to clear up any confusion created earlier. Are you, at this stage, asking them NOT to include a preview? Yes or no?

How do you vote?

That's funny as you never seem to listen to anyone. If you have a high opinion of people then you'd listen to their views rather that dictating to them your views.

Well, I like the feature on the upcoming TF5815. You can switch it off and have text only, or make it have a flashing red border, or swap in your own ComicSans font (that you may be used to from school), or anything. It's ace.

Well, I have yet to agree, so I really can't see how you come to that conclusion. Perhaps it's your ability to exaggerate and dramatise?

Ah, a clever politician's question.
