Can you go direct to web sites by typing in the URL with 3 or do you have to go through Google or Yahoo?

I wish 3 offered more PAYG phones - like the SE K800i (which I'm planning to buy on Orange ).

ALL handsets are now available on PAYG - in store - on 3 (Even the N95!).

I believe the K800i is around £150 on WePay.

Cheers for the heads-up on the £5 PAYG web-browsing pack Chris!

I can't believe that.

I've always thought you can only get the 5 models featured on the web site.

I might have to go with 3 after all!

To begin with, I didn't either!

Each STORE now has a price guide for each handset on WePay. The N95 is £70 cheaper than it is on Virgin!

Pop in and have a look!

The last time I was on 3 was in 2003/4, when they only had the plasticky Motorola and NEC phones (A925 etc).

What's the Internet like with 3?

Is it un-restricted, like with the other networks, or can you only surf selected sites?

The N73 is......wait for it......£429 on Virgin.

It must be £359 on 3 then?

If I bought the SE K800i on 3, how would it be different to it being on Orange?

Would the only changes be to the operator logo and parts of the menu?

Yep, the N95 is currently £359 on WePay. Not that I'd consider paying that much money for a phone upfront, but I was just giving an example.

Did you phone the store yet?

You need X-Series Silver or Gold in order to use Skype.

I have the basic £5 1gb internet option with 3 pay monthly account. I have not seen any websites that have been blocked as yet and yes, you can type in any address you want and don't have to go through Google or Yahoo

Not any more! Well, kind of.

Since the Mix & Match tariffs launched, everyone joining 3 gets free Skype to Skype calls (through 3's own Skype client), without any internet add-on (and now this even includes those on PAYG!).

Messenger (again through their exclusive Windows Live client), while advertised in XSeries literature, has always been 100% included whether or not you have said internet bundle.

I have XSeries and actually use Truphone or some VoIP calls through my data allowance. Not much mind!

Thanks but I'd rather have one of the Sky Mobile TV packs.

I know you can only get these on Orange or Vodafone etc, though.
