Sorry if it's somewhere in another thread, but I can't find it.

I know Gethin is doing the Jive and from watching last night's ITT, Letitia is doing the Tango.

Anyone have the full list?

Many thanks.

Nope but I think Kate is doing the Tango and Alesha the Jive

Not sure Kate would be capable of a Jive, would be fun to watch though..lol

So 4 down, 8 to go

Letitia doing Tango (from ITT last night)
Dominic doing Jive

Could it be all men doing jive and all women doing tango? If so that's very tough on the men... likely to score less.

No, There are some men and some women doing each dance!

which women are doing jive then or which men are doing tango?

Kelly is doing the tango.

So that is Kelly, Kate and Letitia doing tango, presumably the other three will be jive then?

Expect the men will split three, three too then?

I think it's those who did boardroom in their first dance will do latin, which will be Jive, and vice versa. I think it was the rule.

Gethin has gone Cha Cha, Jive though.

There seems to be no 'rules' as to who can do what as their used to be back in series 2 and 3. It's all a bit of a free for all now.

I don't think it is that logical.. And it didn't happen last year, did it? Dominic for instance did the chacha first, and is now apparently doing the jive.

I think the show suffers when it's a free for all, it was much better when the women did Latin one week and the men did Ballroom and then swapped the following week, we could compare one couple against the next and hopefully the judges would mark accordingly.

Now it's really difficult to compare especially later in the series when you get each couple doing a different dance in the same show.

Yes it all gets a bit confusing when you have them all doing different dances - its difficult to compare Sambas to Paso to Waltzes

Please can we go back to either one one dance OR the other all the way through again??

Dom has gone cha cha, jive - I thought that was the rule but obviously not!

Kenny is doing Tango as well. I think Gabby mentioned Jive on Inside Sport, and Willie was practicing Tango on the Snooker. So if it's half and half I think that would mean

Jive- Alesha, Dominic, Gabby, Penny, Matt, John
Tango- Kenny, Letitia, Kelly, Kate, Gethin, Willie

The ones in italics are the ones who haven't changed disciplines (either two latin in a row or two ballroom)- more than half of them! Very strange.

I know but I think I remember some contestants doing dances from the same dicipline 3 times in a row last year and thinking that that was unfair.

Have to say, it seems unfair that Gethin and Camilla have had to change their dance. Last week's training was a waste of time, when he really needs all the practise he can get. If the men are going to have a prayer, they can't really be messed about like this. Can't really see Craig saying, "Gosh that was amazing since you've had a week's less practise than anyone else." Has anyone else had their dance changed, does anyone know?

I'm willing as ever to make an obscure rule that might appeal to the BBC producers.

Girls and Boys
The first three of the same sex will be paired with the lowest three and then given different dances:

Boys

1st John - either jive/tango
4th Matt - either jive/tango

2nd Dom - Jive
5th Gethin - Tango - ITT

3rd Willie - my rules say it should be jive
6th Kenny - Tango - ITT (I think)

Girls

1st - Penny - either jive/tango
4th - Gabby - either jive/tango

1st - Kelly - Jive - Closer magazine
5th - Letitia - Tango - ITT

3rd - Alesha - Jive - ITT
6th - Kate - my rules say it should be tango

It's as good as any - until I'm proved totally wrong

Does anyone remember back in the day (May/June 2004 actually!) when the top scorers got to pick which dance they did the following week? They did it on the BBC3 aftershow with JLC. He'd have this blackboard with, for instance- 3 tango's, 4 jives and all the couples would line up and get to choose. Those who scored lowest that night choosing last and therefore ending up with what was left! It usually resulted in JLC saying to Chris Parker "hard lines mate, it's all that's left!"

Yes , I do . But it was on the actual show at least once , or I wouldn't have seen it as I can only get terrestrial channels .
