This is mainly due to Letitia's wardrobe let downs - but I thought it would be fun to say what you would like to dress the celebs up in - in a dress your own dolly way (like when we were kid and had cut-out dresses and tops which you stuck on another picture!!) - was that just me Anyway, I randomly ramble.

On another thread someone said that they would like to see Letitia in a black deep v trimmed with red dress for her tango this week - what else do you think would suit her as everyone keeps saying that the wardrobe dept are letting her down.

Doesn't have to be Letitia - it can be any boy or girl cleb - keep it clean Gethin and Matt fans (and Kelly fans!!)

I think Letitia should alway show off her legs - but maybe with a longer dress with a huge split in it - and yes a deep v neck would show her cleavage more - but sort of even her out?

I'd like to see Willie in skin tight black trousers, large cuban heels and a black slashed to the navel glittery shirt!

Maybe they should ask the DWTS wardrobe depts for suggestions - they seem to specialise in long but revealing ballroom dresses :lol:

agree about Letitia's shocking wardrobe so far.........she is certainly not fat in any kind of way - quite the reverse, with beautiful legs - but they have dressed her to accentuate all the wrong bits!

with big boobs she needs a halter neck or a v-neck, and to create greater length by a long dress slashed to reveal those gorgeous pins.

As to what I would like to see the male celebrities dressed in............well............am a devoted Vincent fan - a true Simonette - and, since he offered to cook for Stephanie on ITT last night, I would like to see him dressed in......

I think generally the wardrobe department get it right - they are only challenged when you get someone like John Barnes who has a big tummy - to dress him in yellow was a big mistake - they could have made him look eyecatching in something else which didn't look quite so horrid! I think Nicole would look lovely in turquoise and spangles and I think, if they wanted to be outrageous for John and his brilliant personality, he could have worn a darker turquoise shirt with spangles - it wouldn't have disguised his tummy but it would have looked a damn site better than that yellow apparition that stepped onto the dance floor!

I would love to see Dominic dance in studded leathers with Lilia in a sexy leather studded dress - and dance to Monster Mash or something bizarre for Halloween!

Thinking about the yellow on Digger Barnes, I was sort of horribly fascinated by it - he really stood out from the crowd, and probably got a bit of empathy/sympathy for it and for sheer bravery!!

IMO nobody who's over about 25 should really wear yellow -most shades of yellow are very aging. I really hated Kate's dress she was clearly in pain and that shade made her look much older!

I would say that when they are doing ballroom, the men look much better in traditional evening wear - in the first show, for example, I think Willie looked much better in tails than he would have done in Brian's stripey suit. I never really like the matador jackets for the paso, but I suppose they have to do that.

Letitia looked lovely practising the rhumba in a black skirt that was tight around her hips and then flaired in a sort of frill - I'm not explaining that well but it really suited her. She also looked lovely on ITT in a black dress with lots of decoration around the neck. They just need to keep her away from runching. Have to say that those lopsided fish tail dresses they had for the rumba made everyone look a bit 'bottom-heavy' - even Kelly (best female body in Britain according to the Western Mail today!) and they caught on their shoes. Please no more of them.

With the tango and the jive, we should get some really lovely costumes this week - Zoe's tango dress still possibly my favourite ever.

Hi JT - yes I love the tails for ballroom and I really love the tango dresses, but do you remember Jill's hers was long on one side and caught in her shoe?

I had hoped that our dressmakers watched "Dancing With The Stars" and took notes of those awesome costumes. Well, if they did take notes they must have lost them because the costumes this year are uninspiring to say the least, with the single exception of Stephanie (no surprise there!) who obviously had ideas of her own, having been dressed by the best in years gone by. Incidentally I do not think that costumes consisting of separate skirt and bra belong on the dance floor - they are more for the stage (as one might expect in a show run by stage people).

Erin always looks gorgeous - did I read somewhere that she used her own dressmakers for Strictly?
