I don't particularly like Kelly, but it has nothing to do with her looks - just not a fan of what we have seen of her personality. I like Alesha's personality and I liked Mark's as well which is why I like both of them. Would be surprised if looks actually comes into it for a lot of people.

Could be genuine modesty and I will apologise greatly if this turns out to be the case over the next few weeks, but it just sounded so fake! I personally find it very hard to believe that she was shocked she did well after watching the way she dances and knowing that she has previous dance experience and training. She must know she can dance IMO.

Women are allowed to have an opinion of other women without it being out of jealousy!

Maybe people just find her a bit annoying, why is every single even slightly negative comment towards her accused of "female jealousy"

Kelly & Brendon: Personally I really look forward to their dancing. She, (as Karen said during her commentary), knows how to work the room. She is certainly putting in the effort to tell the story of her dance.

I thought Gabby was good too , but I am slightly put off by her over competitive nature, - but of course it is a competition.

I suppose I enjoyed all the ladies dances, but I did cringe for Kate, I hope she gets better - soon.

Ola will cheer up if she does well, I was very impressed with her solo dance last series - brilliant.

Well Gabby is no more competitive than Mark Ramprakash or Colin Jackson... Mark Ramprakash and James Martin were certainly not slated for being attractive.....Quite the opposite: as they still have fan threads on PAGE 1. Yes I`am a man and maybe Kelly has waved her magic wand and I`v fallen for her charms but I work in a female dominated enviroment and I know how the fairer sex react to very attractive women....I see and hear it every working day....They pick out out the tiniest flaw in their victims character and exploit and criticise it. This post is not meant to be personal but it`s just the observations of a man working in a female enviroment. and they let their guard down and forget I`am there: even though I`am their boss......although you would`t think it at times

I think it's a bit unfair and sexist that you're judging the entire female population on the behaviour of your co-workers. Just because some women can be bitchy and jealous doesn't mean we all are.

The problem with that argument is a) Gabby isn't really attractive at all
b) maybe a few people are irritated by Alesha (it's impossible to please all people at all times after all) but in general she is very popular at this stage.

I neither love nor hate Kelly and Brendan. I do find I have to defend Kelly a lot from lots of un-called for bitching.

I would love to have seen kelly dance with someone who wasn't going to perve all over the way that Brendan does. I just feel SCD played a cheap and easy card - "oooh yeh lets get the beautiful Kelly and the permenantly on heat Brendan to dance together so the public can enjoy him panting all over her and see how long it is before she slaps his face" yuk!!! I feel I'm being manipulated.

Kelly is stunning and comes across as a nice person but doon't buy for 1 second that she isn't completely aware of her effect on Brendan otherwise why would she turn up in those weeny little training outfits. I liked her comment about wanting to be seen as more than boobs and a smile and applaud her for it - trouble is she does undermine it a bit by the constant flashing. I can't wait to see her in a ballroom dress - she'll look amazing. Goes without saying she's a very good dancer

As for Brendan - yeh whatever

I think a part of it (but not the whole) is that a lot of people are, interestingly, seeing Kelly v Alesha as the main competition, so people are taking against the one they see as main competition to their favourites. Alesha and Matt are massively popular on here, so Kelly's getting flack. I found another site on the internet (I won't say where - I don't want to start a war!) where you could vote for which girl should go next. Alesha was second to Kate with a massive vote (unfair on her dancing, surely) and Kelly had the least votes.

That's not all of it, and I'm not a big Kelly and Brendon fan myself, but I think that people only get a real battering on the site if they behave badly or if they are seen as serious contenders. At the moment, most of the men are not coming in for any criticism because they aren't being taken seriously - if they start dancing better, I'd expect people to start finding their personalities much more irritating.

To be honest it wouldn't have mattered which pro they put her with, they'd all have been checking her out regardless of their sexuality - most, if not all, men would, as usual it's the BBC putting the spin on to show Brendan in a bad light AGAIN. I'm sure she puts him very firmly in his place but we're never shown that.

Personally, I found Vincents innuendo's to Louisa last year more disturbing than anything that Brendan's done to Kelly this year.

I am not taking the mick, all my clothes are a bit low-cut because I have no neck (Trinny and Suzannah should be proud of me) and if someone tells me to wear something to cover myself up I would have to get an entirely new wardrobe!

She's a beautiful woman and she makes her living off her looks. She appears to have talent as a dancer, and at the moment is one of the best if not the best.
BUT if she's doing things that irritate me, I'm not going to stay quiet about it just to avoid being accused of being 'jealous'. I agree that the flashing is a bit much, If she's going to have a low cut top on (which she needs as otherwise her boobs would look like a shelf) then it would be classier to wear a skirt rather than knickers.
On a bitchy note I know some people who have worked with her and they said she was a nice girl but looks a lot better on camera than in the flesh.
