The mating dance is as old as human procreation, and does not deserve to go out of fashion.
I for one would add my vote for Come Dancing 2008 - I still dream of that girl dancer in Bournemouth. |

When I heard the line up for SCD, I said who is Kelly Brook. This week she was on the front page of my Sunday paper (must stop buying it its rubbish) So the publicity machine is in full swing. She looks fab and dancing very nicely, but her personality seems too gushing for me. I love Brendan, always a loose canon.

Women want to scream when they see men taken in by a fake woman.
Not in the slightest would I dream of suggesting Kelly is fake. Having seen precious little of her I shall keep an open mind for a few more weeks, in spite of teeth grinding all around. |

Saw Kelly on ITT tonight, for the first time more than just a snatch. No doubt some will wonder if Kelly's alleged fallout with and walkout on Brendan today was stage-managed by a svengali manager, fishing for publicity in red top papers. This remains to be proven, but with two partners each like a coiled spring, a fallout is hardly surprising.
For the first time I understood where the accusations of falsness and posing came from. Is everything Kelly does contrived with an ulterior motive? I shall keep an eye on this, but to me she looks a creature of instinct rather than reflection. When she is uncomfortable she falls back on nervous girlish twittering more self-reassuring for its sound than meaning. Have I seen it before? Yes -- Hugh Grant. |

Well i dont really like to use the word 'hate' but given these two options... its hate .... They are just so arrogant and without a doubt the judges favs... |

they have become my second favourites after Alesha and Matt, and I really didn't warm to them before
I still think their chemistry isn't brilliant but Kelly was really good tonight |

I liked them at first, went off them, now warming to them a bit again. Like them as dancers, for sure.

I think Kelly is quite a competent dancer and one of the better ones on SCD, however there is just something lacking...she doesn't excite me and sometimes i even forget that she is on the programme.

I'm indifferent to them.
Although I feel the need to defend Kelly at times as I think she gets a raw deal from some on here. |

I knew nothing about Kelly Brook when SCD started. I've been unsure of her up until last week when I've started to warm to her. It was nice that she chose Kenny's Samba as the highlight of the series. I think she did a great job with the jive tonight. I've loved Brendan since Series 1, but now I can say that I love them both. I think she's been much maligned.

I'm not a big fan of Kelly. It has nothing to do with whatever she has done in the past (prior to SCD, I rarely saw her in anything); I just don't think she is particularly interesting or endearing or charming or intelligent.
Brendan can be a bit daft, but he is a great dancer. I like him. My "problem"with/indifference to them as a couple (and they are consistently good) comes from me thinking (although I haven't watched a lot of the training/ITT this year) that Kelly isn't getting any better when she should be getting better (and Brendan needs to be pushing her and trying to correct things like the lack of bounce and her sometimes flailing arms in the jive). Alesha & Matt have a similar problem I think; if the judges keep telling them how fabulous they are instead of telling them how they could get even better, they are going to continue to be content with great-but-not-wow performances. |
