can i unlock my nokia 1100?
hi guys,
as the title really, im sure it was bought on virgin mobile, but i now wanna use a t-mobile sim in it! and ideas? also can it be done free? lol yeh im tight! thanks sparkie |

it's fairly easy to unlock this phone. the instructions here would be a good place to start.
although it would be a good idea if you could clearly identify your MCC+MNC codes, but i can't think of an easy way of doing this on an 1100. |

ive tried 4 attempts at doing it!
it keeps saying code error, can anyone help me at all? i downloaded, nokia free calc and tried code 1 and 7 and tried the special code option 1 and 7 now i have one left, if i use it is the phone buggered? or can it just not be unlocked? thanks to anyone who can help!!! |

If the phone was on virgin you don't need to unlock as virgin uses the t-mobile network. So the phone should work without being unlocked.

I deleted my earlier post as I was advising the OP to post on the unlocking thread and then saw that they had!
FWIW I have two 1100s, both originally on Orange, and have unlocked both using a free online code generator. One no longer likes an Orange Sim, but both are working on Tesco Mobile with no problems. |
