Who is for the chop this week?
MojoMaster

Well it's the start of the "mixed" competition this week.

Who do you think is for the chop?

Personally (as a red blooded male) I would hate to see Ola and Kenny go (....and yes I'm on about Ola before anyone comments!!).

I actually think that Willie and Erin will go this week, for the simple fact that I reckon they will get a latin dance and Willie will be pants.

Kate or Kenny really.

Want to keep Willie in to prove that over 50s are not wasting their time entering (Brian, Stephanie, Gloria, Nicholas etc)

Sadly I agree that if willie is dancing latin there could be a problem - I like Ola but i do think kenny may go

Willie and Erin are doing tango this week so hopefully they will be great

Isn't Willie doing the tango this week? Kate's injury is getting better so she's bound to improve on last week. It's gotta be Kenny surely!? The boy's got no rhythm!

Didn;t they do Ballroom last time? If so that's a tad unfair, but hey.

Looks like Ola and Kenny then *cry*

Kenny and Kate with Kenny being saved

I'd have thought Willie & Erin would have been better with the jive - if he can swing to the 50s style. I can imagine Tango looking rather ploddy... then again.. he's with Erin and she's better at the Ballroom dances and she did a great job with goalie last year.

Edit: Oh.. and as for who is to go... I think the GBP will save Kate & Anton for another week especially if the judges are mean to them.. so I think we'll probably end up with Gabby & Kenny in the bottom two unless Gabby gets exceptionally high marks. In which case the judges will save Gabby.

I also think the bottom two will be Kate and Kenny with Kenny being saved for the 2nd time

Inclined to agree, really ~ i going to go out on a limb and say Kate ~ she has had less overall rehearsal than the others due to her injury, which may have affected her presentation etc: I'm not convinced by Arlene's line about being able to practice your topline even if you're in a wheelchair ~ it maybe true, but in my limited dance experience its hard to learn top and bottom separately and then stitch them together (i remember one tap dance disaster when a teacher tried to teach us the arms after we'd got the feet learned, and it was like trying to pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time!)

And she won't have the sympathy vote to bump her up the leaderboard again this week (unless Arlene launches into some vile personal assault, of course ) so she's likely to be in the bottom two, and Kenny's has shown he can pull it out of the bag (sort of!) in the dance off

Entirely my own guesswork, and maybe I'll be 100% wrong and Kate & Kenny will be at the TOP of the leader board

I also, based on the evidence we've seen so far, can't look beyond Kenny. He's last on our favourites poll and was nearly voted out week 1 which seems to suggest lack of public support and he didn't look good at all in the boys group dance.

It'd be interesting to see some of his training footage from this week.

Ola injury may help with the sympathy voting but I'm not convinced either are liked well enough for that.

Of course it does depend who they are in the bottom two with as I'm sure there are some the judges are gunning for before them.

IF Kate & Anton are still way behind the others, I wonder if the judges will launch into them quite so harshly as last week? Do you think they will have learnt that their comments backfired on them spectacularly, or will they just not be able to stop themselves?

I hope it's Kenny, despite my lust for Olga, just so that it annoys the stroppy Gaby.

Well you think they'd have got the message after series 1 when Christopher Parker ended up in the final due to a mass of compensatory votes after they way they had a go at him, but four series on (and the likes of Georgina, Fiona, etc) and they still haven't grasped it!

I think kenny will go - I'm just praying he isn't jiving. If Willie were doing the jive I'd go for him but as its the tango, I think he'll make a decent fist of it.

I hope that Willie and Erin do well in their Tango as I would like to see him stay in a couple more weeks, I hate it when all the "maturer" contestants are voted out by the tweenies.

Kenny seems to be lacking in any natural rhythm, and even though I know all the guys want to keep Ola in ( ..lol), I hope Kenny goes as he seems pretty bland.

What a pathetic reason ....... why not just hope it's Gabby herself if you feel so strongly
