Anyhow, customer service is crap. I went into the store and the salesperson didn't know the answer to my question.
I went into the store to look at a phone, the sales person didn't know the phone came without a camera until I told him.

^ when they told me to call their customer services I told them the Indian's were no help, and all the staff just laughed when I said 'those Indian's are useless'!

The shop was empty so they weren't busy. I would have thought they could have called up for me? Anyhow I wouldn't get a new handset through the store now. I would hate to think any of those guys would get a commission.

id never need to use their customer services as you can do everything via your account on their website.

only thing putting me off now is that apparently all their phones have the 3 logo printed on them.

Good-o!

While I'm no fan of the smut available for download (well, over the cellular network anyway ), if I WAS going to buy porn, I'd want it to be the proper stuff.....
A debate on TV last night (21/10/07) was about what they can and cannot show on the so called adult channels available by subscription on cable and satellite and showing of penetrative sex was not allowed at the moment. How do Three get to include it in their content on mobile phones?

on 3 you cant view it you need to phone 3 to prove your 18 but if you have a credit card you can do it on your phone only if you have one no one under 20 can view it because they wont have a credit card.

I'm aware of the R18 restrictions for Broadcast media and while I'm no expert, aren't mobile downloads NOT broadcast media?

Anyway - my point was that I wouldn't make a decision on chossing a network because of content I wasn't interested in ever downloading that they offered on their network.

I'm not big footy fan, but I'm NOT going to base my choice for a network because they may have Goal Videos available for chargeable download (and THEY'RE not even kept behind an adult check restriction).

Pretty Much so.

Wait an hour, turn it off then on again. They usually activate well within the 24 hour limit.

i've been with 3 for 2 1/2 years and have decided to leave them.
i get no reception in my home from them but can get 3g at the top of a mountain in ambleside...
also i get lots of dropped calls and they blamed my phone, so i got a new phone and a new 12 month contract and the problem still occurred.

now i'm wondering who to go with next...
