How much would you pay for a hair cut?
I have just been and had mine done at Toni and Guy in Leeds; I am male and had hair to about my shoulders before I had it done...£44! I wasn't expecting it to be that much.
The last time I went I only paid £23 |

i usually get mine highlighted and cut in uppercut (getting it done tomorrow actually) costs around 43 quid....i get it done every 2/3 months so i think its worth it, as its what youd pay for a night out and you see your hair everyday
Tony & Guy - you will pay top whack there, however i find uppercut to be much better and cheaper |

I would never go to Toni&Guy, I go to salons that I trust and have paid up to £180 but that's when I went from black to dirty blonde and had it cut by the owner.

£44 is silly money, £23 is still a lot for a haircut. £8 max!

I'd never pay more than £15.
It looks to me that there isn't much skill involved in cutting hair, and for less than an hours work, £15 seems more than fair. |

Well I just got my hair cut on Wednesday morning at a local hair dressers that is also a beauty salon. I got quite alot cut so its much shorter now and it only cost £10, though I think it was only about £8 before which was a bit embarrassing, I always try to give the hairdresser a tip and didn't realise it had gone up so when she said thats £10 I only had a tenner on me so no tip could be given at the time! she's a really nice hairdresser... but I probably wouldn't want to pay much more than £10, considering I usually only get a basic dry cut.

Bare in mind that it was ace mainly for the copis amounts of champagne and beer I consumed while I was there. No wonder the price seemed ok at the time, at least I wasn't paying though, my mums was a lot more.

Could I just ask why you'd not pay more than a minimal amount? Is it lack of pride or is it just because you look ok with a shaven head?
