Could I just ask why you'd not pay more than a minimal amount? Is it lack of pride or is it just because you look ok with a Shaven head?
I don't have a shaven head, but I do have a 1/8" all over, at least on the bits that still have hair.

That's a bit of a heartless comment.

Some FMs might be sensitive about their baldness.

Oh right, with the talk about highlights, thought you a woman.

Barbers dont do highlights, maybe thats why more men go to hairdressers!

£44 that sounds a bit extreme. Last time I went to the barbers it had gone up to £2.50 and I thought that a bit steep.

As you can see it is a while since I went and had my hair cut, my sister usually does it once a year with the clippers. However after a small fallout I am reluctant to ask her to do it this year. Consequently I have to go to the local barbers - but have no idea what to ask for. Do I just go in and ask for it making short, or is there some kind of menu you can choose from?

Please help me before I look like cousin Itt.

The most I have paid was for a colour, cut and dry £125.00 .
It took the OH the rest of the month to get over it

I pay about 30-40 quid - well worth it - people under estimate how a good hair cut can make a difference to how you look. - also that includes free beer or cocktails!!

my OH doe sthis hair straightnin gthing from Japan - costs like 300 quid or something!! - lasts forever tho and it look sreally good - and saves her 15 mins in the morning as she doesn't need to be GHD'd

No point having a 1st class roof if the rest of the house is a shack.

Unfortunately I have a tenant that likes to keep the brids away.

But some people are sensitive about it.

PS. Are you, by any chance, female?

I have just been and had mine done at Toni and Guy in Leeds; I am male and had hair to about my shoulders before I had it done...£44! I wasn't expecting it to be that much.

The last time I went I only paid £23
I paid £35 at my T&G. And yes, it was more than I expected too, although I had been given a price card so I was prepared for it. Depends really. They did give me quite a lot of attention, a good consultation and the hair wash was good, although done by a bloke. Ugh. Theres nothing better than a good head massage by a nice girl.

I may go somewhere else next time and just use T&G when I'm feeling like a treat.

PS: how do you tip at places like T&G? Do you ask them to add it to the bill when paying or do you have to leave cash, and with whom?
