I have always loved Lilia, especially when she won with Darren, but I just can't warm to her with Dom. Maybe it was that silly routine and even sillier hat last week that put me off.

I really liked the routine, and Lilia's outfit (thought she looked like Betty Boop!) ~ but I was thinking how I'd like to see it danced by her and someone else (such as Aled) as I wasn't feeling it from Dom.

Very true ~ Gabby's taken a lot of stick for this, but Dom had (up until now) seemed to escape any criticism for his competitiveness, which i didn't really understand. Sauce for the goose....

Could smack him with a cricket bat.
typical ex-car salesman.
The man's as oily as car mechanics rag.

But i bet you wouldn't have bought a car from him.
I don't want to get personal, as I am bound to be told off, but he reminds me of a chimpanzee. Eager to please but not quite up to man's capabilities.

I am finding alot of the celebs "just a tad annoying" but wouldnt dream of starting a topic to point that out!
A little tact maybe?

Lilia and Dom are dancing the American Smooth this week
and on It Takes Two tonight they showed them practising their routine.

I could not believe that yet again this week Lilia has cheorgraphed the routine with Dom slapping her bottom
yet again.

I am really surprised at Lilia I thought this dance was meant to be elegant and not a slapstick routine.

Lilia and this annoying little man are my least favourite couple now.

I hope they get voted off very soon.

with dom it is kind of like when someone does something funny but they don't realise it but when they do find out people think it was funny they try to repeat it and milk it too much.

I was surprised at Lilia as well, she has choreographed some great dances, she doesn't need to go down that path again.

He's such a groper, every routine will have him touching Lilia somewhere.

I'm not a fan of either, but surely Lilia must be getting annoyed with it by now, she didn't look too happy on Saturday and I was at the live show.

I said on another thread , Aled , Darren and Matt all did some bits of choreography , maybe these bits are Dom's contribution !

He gets more creepy every week.
He constantly seeks out the camera
"Cheeky" can get rather wearing after a bit.
The viewers will soon go off him.

Dom does kind of annoy me, I have to admit.

I don't like people trying to clown their way through a show like this.

But it's still early days. Perhaps I'll like him better with time.

I think very highly of Lilia - I think out of all the pros, she seems to be the one who can get the best out of her celebs. However, I am afraid that I just cannot warm to Don and his dancing persona seems to be completely at odds to his non-dancing persona. He has gone from someone I quite liked in week one to my least favourite.

I rather like Dom but then I guess it's a question of 'horses for courses'. Would be a boring world if we all liked the same people and things!!

I'm not keen on Dominic, who seems to be cropping up all over the place at the moment- but I think calling him a groper is going a bit far. Lilia is the choreographer, after all.

Dom is certainly living up to his cheeky chappie image!
My husband told me last night that it was in the newspaper that Dom had said that last week-end he got very close and personal with someone off of the programme after the show.

I wonder who that could be then?

I live in fear of him constantly getting the 'blokey' vote like Darren Gough did, and staying in a long time. Sorry, but he makes my flesh creep.

I am surprised that Lilia is continuing choreographing these slappy routines. i saw Dom on ITT practising a lift and he looked good. I don't criticise for the sake of it and am the first to complement someone on something well done. so and here's my question, if Dom can manage a difficult lift, why is Lilia letting him act the 'lovable'??? rogue again and again. I hated that even in the earlier group dance, there was Dom, bottom slapping the girls.
I'm all for a bit of fun, but this is taking it too far.

In all honesty, I won't blame Dom for doing that, it's not as if he choreographs the routine! I believe you are asking if Lilia has been using the cheeky bit too much? Well, debatable at this point, it's only week 3 or 4...

But I agree, you can't be cheeky in a Paso, Tango or AT. I can't imagine a cheeky Rhumba either!

didnt CRH say in the training clips that an AS could be cheeky? stop being so questioning until you have seen the dance!

If Lilia thinks its what to do in the routine then I'm sure it fits. Perhaps its something to do with the music choice, we've only seen him do two Latin dances, we don't know what he'll be like in Ballroom and if it'll be out of place until we see it. There is no point judging them now, and then realising that we were only shown the clips ITT wanted us to see and not the other 60+ seconds of a competant elegant routine.

Maybe Dom could tone it down a bit, but heck week 4 and don't anyone forget it is still early days, I know many of us will get a lot more tired of many of the celebs and their personality/attitude/'pain'/struggle/j..... (ah ah not so fast).

Personally Matt and his determination/frustration and general aaahhhhhness is really getting my goat, BUT I am prepared to see how good he can get before I put out a contract on him failing that vote like a demon for whoever stands a chance of getting him off SCD......

His cheeky chappy routine has got stale now with him messing about and risking getting thrown out.
