I did a search and didn't find one...

Thought I'd start it myself and pay tribute to the amazingly talented Niki - a star in the making.

Show your appreciation of Niki here.

Not sure if she's a star in the making but she was by far the best last night.

She's my second favourite but I don't think she'll win.

I think she was great. What struck me was that she could sing effortlessly and naturally without feeling she had to textbook calculate notes to make her performance "memorable".

She's a raw talent.. The best by far - but she won't win because she doesn't fit the winner's demographic which is a real shame.

Best performance of the night. She won't win obviously but top female surely awaits.

Think she was probably the best on opening night, but she kept it within her abilities. There is plenty of scope in that song to be flashy and roll out all the lyrical tricks. Time will tell if that is is because she doesn't have the range or she just did it how she wanted. The problem with scenario A is when she's forced out of her comfort zone with a song that doesn't suit her because of these "themed" weeks.

Her skin might show her age, but she's still hot too.

Thanks for all your positive comments, everyone. Hope you stick around and keep posting.

I thought that she was in a class of her own, and I was sitting up straight waiting to be Daniel fan! I hope that she stays in for a long time, but I can't see them allowing her to win.

She was fantastic last night - her and Rhydian's performances were my favourites. Hopefully, she'll do another great performance next week. I think she will go far into the competition - not sure if she'll win it though.

Niki was head and shoulders above everyone else, for me at any rate.

Beautifully understated performance it was just effortless

She was wonderful last night but don't think she'll have a lasting career out of it, which is sad but she's a million times more talented than half the acts on there and I would be even tempted to vote for her as one in the eye for all the nasty comments about her on here. Go Niki!!

Niki was the best on the night - I hate her sob-story, but she deserves better than to be judged on that.

I am now officially rooting for Niki as well as Beverley. I even developed a soft spot for Similar Cheeses.

Unfortunately with Louis as a mentor her sob story will not be dropped- it will be mentioned every week. Remember his ridiculous attempts at trying to attract the Scottish vote last year with the Macdonalds? "The poor guy is blind" comments about 2 to Go?

I think she was one of the best two that I saw. Good singer anyway, and a pretty good performer.

The only other one who I rated was Rhydian who I thought was an excellent performer.

I think that these two were head and shoulders above all the rest by quite a wide margin and I couldn't really say which one was better.

Once again, a huge congratulations to Niki for another show-stopping performance.

I was really nervous when I found out she was singing 'My Heart Will Go On', but she shattered any doubts I had and once again gave the performance of the night. Well done, girl.

Anyone have any songs they would like to see her sing?

I would like her to do something like True Colours or Fields of Gold.

I think 'Get Happy' would really suit Niki's voice, but not neccesarily her style. To date, she's sung ballads and has done extremely well with them. I can't really see her putting on a big 'show' with the song, so probably something slow again.

Whatever she sings, I have faith that she'll do it justice.

I wasn't overly impressed by Niki this evening, but was glad to see her doing an up-tempo number.

The dancing was pretty poor - Brian Friedman should be ashamed of that routine - but her overall vocals were once again overstanding. Well done, girl.

She is gaining in confidence and very natural on stage I think she will be in the final no problem
