T816 tuner

I've got a PVR80 and sometimes when recording the picture will start jumping / skipping. I know this is partly down to signal strength but also think (from what i've read) this model (the T810?) in particular is prone to this.

I've been thinking about getting the Evesham one for £99 but was wondering is the T816 any improvement with regards to this?

I have the Wharfedale 250DTR and I've had quite a lot of skipping recently. I think in my case it is probably fluctuating signal - the aerial for our flat isn't fantastic and is pointing at the wrong transmitter
However, I do hope that it isn't something else, like the hard drive being unable to keep up when recording two things at once etc. I'm fairly sure it's not but still...I don't usually get problems when watching live TV, just the occasional split second gap in audio, which is also annoying.

There's just a chance that the cause is the PVR80's hard drive being too full.

My 250DTR's hard drive is maybe around a quarter full...and has never been any more full (haven't deleted any recordings yet)
