Hi,
What would be the impications if i bought a phone from abroad,
At the moment i am working in Hungary and from T Mobile or Pannon (local phone co) the phones look to be around 50 pound cheaper than UK so, if i bought one from T Mobile over here and then take it back to the UK will it work using tmob card or will it need to be unlocked?
Thanks,
Steve.

T-Mobile UK and T-Mobile overseas are different networks and a phone locked to one will need unlocking.
You should also bear in mind the position with repairs and warranties. Depending on manufacturer they may refuse to repair a "foreign" version of a handset.

fair comment thanks. I hadnt thought about the warranty issue, could be a bind having to travel over here just for a broken button lol
