Well you certainly get a lot of those with Brendan (imperfections that is), not many of the good points.

But noones being MAJORLY overmarked this season like Emma was last season... The whole arguement was started because he felt the judges overmarked Emma then undermarked Camilla and Ray... Even Bruno admitted to overmarking her to keep her in...
This year ok 9's are a bit much but its not overly overmarked, and I don't think anyones being overly undermarked, which was actually the point he attempted to make... And the leaderboard is about right... The Tango in itself has split opinon, didn't Vincent give it very high praise

(I'm not 'prying into his private life' as it were, I'm just interested in the pyschology of it all (and the fact that Brendan needs a cuddle

Ah, but you have to remember that Tess is THICK
Just like her stupid husband. Also it's about time she learnt one or two dance steps. The way she trips down the stairs with Brucie makes her look like a 3 year old. Hopeless. She has got a fine cheek even opening her mouth at all to pass comment on anybody's dancing. I think she even tried to take the mick out of the wonderful Brucie by saying "That was funny" with an attempt at a little sarcasm - not clever enough to pull this off.

My view is that Tess does does a great job in what is clearly a supporting role. It's not easy being a stooge but IMO Tess does this with some style.
She is also very vocal in her support of Bruce. Tess and Vern have become good friends with Bruce and given that he is notoriously picky this is no mean feat.
I agree that so far her dancing has looked awful and she is sometimes a bit gauche but that is part of her charm for me and overall I think she is great on this show.

To get the true picture on Brendon it's necessary to go back to SCD series 1. Brendon has been portrayed in a certain way i.e. bad boy to make the show more interesting. I think he's had a raw deal over the last three series.

I missed the first series (woe is meee!) - what was he like in that one?
Probably the way same way he is this series, as he had a good partner then too. It's his behaviour when his partner isn't that good that we're interested.
Although a rising fan of Brendan's in this series, I was disappointed tonight that he did the 3 lifts if it's in the rules not to. Esp if the others stuck to the rules.
