I'm even more in love after last night

Maybe you didn't read what Kate Galloway said recently - that Fiona told her that Brendan had his moments but was lovely most of the time. And maybe it was too subtle for you, but it was a joke with the perfume, BBC's joke not his, they know he has a sense of humour and can laugh at himself and doesn't get offended so that is why they only do this with him and every time he is on - and generally not to the other dancers. He has no perfume and Kelly did not mention hers last night - it was also a joke on his part about doing a tour with Kelly promoting their respective perfumes, its called entering into the spirit of things. I haven't seen him leering either - also spin from BBC. But I'm sure he finds her attractive and clearly enjoys working with her - no wonder after his partners of the last three years.
I thought they were lovely last night - and fail to understand why people say Kelly is fake - I haven't seen it at all. I think they go very well together, and did think last night, what a pity she is in a relationship.

Kellys perfume was mentioned actually, which is what I was referring to. Obviously too subtle for you to understand.

Claudia brought up the perfume not Kelly - obviously too subtle for you to notice!

Some people on this thread didn't notice at all, did they? At least now they have been on this week, let's hope we'll be spared seeing the pair of them again for a while!

I am NOT a fan of Brendan but last night's ITT of Brendan and Kelly looked fine to me.

My little advice is to ignore posts that are clearly written to provoke.

But who mentioned it - Claudia used it as an introduction to her prepared piece on Brendan's fictitious perfume. Kelly did not respond, she didn't have a bottle with her as a lot of guests do when the are promoting new CDs, films etc - she didn't hold anything up to the camera, didn't say buy it for your girlfriend - it makes a great Christmas present - please buy..... So no it wasn't too subtle for me. In my opinion, it really doesn't count as promotion when a product is mentioned as a lead into a prepared piece. If anything, they used Kelly's product for their own gains - to introduce a humourous piece they had put together. She got nothing out of it apart from amusement at Brendan's fabricated advert. I didn't get the impression she knew they were going to mention it anyway. She was there to talk about her dancing and nothing else.

Brendan is a gorgeous, darling man with a great sense of humour who really enjoyed being teased about "his perfume" last night and took it like the good sport he is. This is a lovely thread with excellent posts - and the odd bod with the chip on his shoulder who keeps butting in just makes me laugh

I always remember one of the Billettes telling me about Brendan picking up rubbish at one of Karen's first dances at the end of the night too. I haven't met him in person but have heard such lovely reports about him... I hope I get to meet him one day too... maybe even dance with him? (Well.. a girl can dream! The foxtrot is mine!!!)
