On most forums they do shut down threads with like 200k
But yeah .. on the Soaps forum .. the thread about Jon Paul's sexuality is well past 200k and hasn't been closed so dunno

It could , there's a thread on the BB forum that was closed because it was "too long" and for "performance reasons". It could probably happen here too , when the new series starts and if the RAT has like 300,000 replies (which it probably will!).
Then again , the BB forums get a lot more traffic than the X factor forums so the RAT just may be safe!
