I don't think there's much demand for it at the moment?

Looks a bit ahead of its time.

Whenever I have looked at it I always thing it looks pricey and the choice of handsets is pants.

Same applies to Unique from Orange.

Yep proud BT Fusion owner !

If anything its a matter if the Fusion service suits you. For example you get 4 mins for 1 when in wifi mode on your hub, or if your in an openzone, so you can quadruple your talk time if you're in these zones

Web browsing under 20mb is free, and if you have a familiy additional handsets with own number and share your allowance.

With the advent of BT FON if enough people sign up these zones will be more widely available,. and Fusion more viable, currently I am actually saving money being on fusion, it may not be the case for all though!

Yep, fusion user here too! Got a good deal with the minimum package 100 mins for £10 a month (up to 400 with the hub/openzone).

I only have a couple of gripes, I'd like to see more handsets, especially smartphone/PDA types (there's a HTC smartphone already available, but only for business customers!). And I'd like to either see an end to the 20Mb allowance, or allow me to use the phone to connect to a wi-fi hotspot and use my FON/openzone minutes, not my 20Mb GPRS allowance.

Other than that, I'm saving money too... I used to be on a PAYG phone, pending about £15 a month, I now get a better package for less money, and I use the phone instead of my landline to make free calls during the day (hub phone in the evening).

That said, I don't think it would be such a good deal if I was paying £19 a month... BT need to look at making it a bit more competative, and increasing the range... I heard rumors that this autumn we should be seeing at least 3 new handsets... should have been end of Sept/start Oct... but no sign so far!

C'mon BT... this is a good system, if somewhat misunderstood... improve the range, and price... then improve the marketing.

Cheers
Alun

Earlier this year, BT had a mini site called Snowed In and that was presenting its xmas plans. (this site has since disappeared)

BT Snap & Send was announced, Fusion phone sends your photos to your digital vault account, this service is now here (and works well) . An alternative to the hub phone the Edge 1000 voip was announced, (other than argos catalog haven't seen one!)

Fusion was supposed to get the a new Nokia that looks the same as the existing Nokia 6136 think it was an 6086 (not sure) , talk was of the BenQ P21 a prototype phone from Siemens (although I though BenQ had gone bust) and rumors of a new Samsung, other than the Nokia and BenQ nothing else was definite.

Existing Fusion handsets are fine, but I will grant you not fancy. The P200 is great for battery life, and even the warthog the A910 has its good points bluetooth voice active dailling.

regards
