Not trying to upset anyone but I find the comments on these forums interesting this year, Stephanie was 'slated' by some for making light of her departure while Willie is 'slated' for being upset, they can't seem to win ducks out of way before gets hit by incoming .....

It's a shame that this series has lost its 3 oldest competitors in the first three weeks, none of them were the worst dancers on the night and IMO they added something to the show

Willie Thorne is another 'celebrity' that I have never had any opinion about but he lost any chance of my vote last week when he started wittering on about how he was in Scotland having to commentate on the snooker and how it contrasted with other contestants.

Both Kate and Penny are mums of youngsters - although admittedly ones with enough money for Nannies presumably - and Kate is still doing her full-time job.

Dominic and Gethin are still continuing with very demanding careers.

I know I always go back to this but Aled continued practising with Lilia in church halls and pub backrooms because he was doing a national tour and had never expected to get so far in the competition. Willie had a choice about whether or not he signed up for the SCD experience when he already knew when the snooker championships were.

I think he has a massive chip on his shoulder and has been very ungallant. I cannot understand people who sign up for something like SCD or X Factor and then complain that they didn't know what it was going to be like.

Thankfully as I never watch snooker, my path will not cross with Willie Thorne ever again.

I realised how confused I had gotten just after posting and tried to rescind it! No such luck.

I just hope that my addled mental state doesn't mean that I am unexpectedly pregnant! couldn't cope with any further pressure!

I got a bit irritated with him "bangin' on" about "snooker commentating" as well as rehearsing his dances.

When he signed up for this he would have known about his snooker committments. But even those would be done sitting down and his dance partner came up for him, he didn't have to travel every day.

There were far fewer whinges from Aled Jones who was doing a stage show as well as training for this programme.

well erin fan (guessing by the name i would guess you like erin)

my friend got to meet erin and also karen (which i was very excited about) karen showed her a video of her little boy on he rphone saying 'this is mommy doing the salsa- hot hot hot!' and doing a dance. she said it was adorable

also she said that nobody likes brendan and he stands by himself at the aftershow parties and if you ask anyone they all say they hate him. Also she shook Billy Zane's hand and kelly said hello in a very dippy sort of way. Also she said brian capron was so drunk that he couldnt stand up

and she said that arlene put her hands round kenny's face in a very sexual way (if you knw what i mean- but i think it was just to say sorry for saying he was so awful in the group dance)

You would think so - and I do really like Erin - but I'm actually even more of a fan of the Cutlers and Flavia. When I signed up I was a really big fan of Colin and Erin.

I just think some celebs get more emotionally involved in the training, the relationships with their partners & the show than they expect to. Lbh lots of us get really obsessive with it & we are only watching (I know I do ).
Then when it is all suddenly over it's a big anti-climax & they are bereft in a way. Some articulate with good grace & others get a bit over-emotional like Jan & now Willie.
I know if I was in it, really loving it & got voted out I'd be devastated. So I just think "Oh bless 'em" when they are overwrought cos they are not thinking straight; they're so upset to be leaving.
(I bet Jan wishes she had n't been so vocal now & is highly embarrassed by her outburst).

( I can't for the life of me remember her name,.... it's obvious that she didn't make an impression on me.LOL)”

Jan Raven - for previous year's round-by-round results and scores see http://www.ianvictoria.co.uk/comedancing5.htm#voting

Was it Jan who said she wanted to bury the hatchet in the back of Craig's head? Evidently Craig continues to live dangerously.

I'm guessing it was the "friend" who was at the show. I can't believe any of the professionals would say something like that openly (even if they secretly think it) as it could damge their careers.

Was talking to someone who knows Brendan and they said its all hype with his image .

He does like the ladies but he's a single man .

She said he's a sweetie really.

I remember Karen's 1st class party in March 2006.

In a church hall in Croydon

There was Brendan at the end , walking around helping to clear the tables , black bag in hand

I really don't know where these rumours start about other professionals "hating" him

Willy is perfectly entitled to his own opinion.

Its about time we had a few more honest celebs rather than the simpering "oh, no one deserved to be voted off" remarks we get.

Good on you Willy!
