Fans of Brian Dowling might like to know there is a nice interview with Brian on the RTE site here:

http://www.rte.ie/arts/index.html

It's in the video section beneath the RTE Guide.

Brian talks about his forthcoming stint as Captain Hook in Peter Pan at the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin. He also says quite a lot about Big Brother .
I watched that yesterday, and really enjoyed it

Wishing all Brian Dowling fans a wonderful Christmas and an amazing 2009.

Personally having a great start to 2009, as I'm off Dublin to see Brian playing Captain Hook in Panto

There is another short interview with Brian online from TV3 Xpose show. http://www.tv3.ie/xpose.php?video=4022

Fans might like to know that Brian is standing in again for Andi Peters on Heat Radio's flagship show Hot or Not this Monday 16 March 2009. Brian is also standing in for Andi Peters for a six week run from the end of March whilst Andi does the Dancing on Ice tour. Exact dates have yet to be confirmed.

http://www.briandowling.biz/

The show runs from 8 pm - 10 pm and can be heard via Sky Channel 0179, Freeview Channel 714, on digital radio and via the Heat website.

Great to see Brian getting such a long run on this show, which arguably should have been his in the first place.

Whilst posting I would comment that I saw this week's Closer advert last night and it has been completely revamped. Brian says much more and is much less rushed than he was. I would advise fans to keep a particular eye open for it because although it's longer, it's so different from the first version that it is easy to miss.

Brian was on BBC Breakfast on 2 June 2009. Unfortunately most fans seem to have missed him but fortunately there is a clip of the interview on the BBC site:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...st/8078770.stm

I think Brian comes across very well in this interview and looks good too!!

Whilst posting I'll add a link to a report regarding the Best Winner Poll which Brian won and which was widely reported around the net. Just in case any casual Brian fans didn't see it:

Happy 31st Birthday to Brian . Here's hoping he has a great day today, perhaps a spot of sunbathing (if we are lucky with the weather!) and a party tonight .

According to a post by Brian on his Facebook page, he has been injured in an accident involving a taxi.

The taxi appears to have gone over his foot and he is now on crutches. This happened whilst he was still in Dublin and delayed his return to London by a couple of days, but he is returning to London today.

I'm sure we all wish him a speedy recovery! He will need to put that foot up for a while.

According to Brian's Facebook page and the forum of his official website, the up to date position on Brian is that he tore the ligaments in his foot . He managed to get back to London using wheelchairs at the airports. However his foot took a turn for the worse and he now has it and half his leg in plaster .

Torn ligaments are more painful that broken bones apparently and he could well take a long time to heal.

Wishing you all the best Brian.

Brian fans might like to take note of this post:

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...&postcount=108

Contrary to reports in the press today and on the internet. Brian has not refused to go into the All Stars house. He has not been asked to go in. How can he refuse to do something he hasn't been asked to do?

News for all Brian Dowling fans!
Brian is appearing on BBLB tonight, he is actually in the studio, this isn't the Zig and Zag pre-record that has yet to go out.

I wondered where the thread had gone!

Wonderful to have Brian back in the house. He's just as witty as he was all those years ago

He's been on great form this evening.

He's had Chantelle and Nadia in stitches.

A naturally very funny guy is our Brian. I would have liked to have seen a few more of his one liners on tonight's highlights.

I don't believe Brian was given a fair edit on tonight's highlights show and I shall be emailing Channel 4 if this continues.

It seems Brian is good enough to keep all the precious housemates amused in the house, but not the viewers on the high lights show .

For me he's the best part of UBB. I loved him back in BB2 and I still love him now.

Go Brian
