It does seem very odd that Brian doesn't appear much on the HL's show when he is so heavily featured on LF. I have always stuck up for BB when various people have been bleating about fixes and scams, but I have to say I'm beginning to get very suspicious about their non-coverage of Brian. I know that they can't focus on him for the whole hour and a bit that the HL's are on (although I would very much love that!), but also, when he is shown it's not necessarily for one of his multitude of random funny one-liners or comebacks that are everywhere on the LF.
There are a lot of youngsters out there who didn't see Brian in BB2 and who really do not like him at all because they are going by his VT when he went into the house and are calling him smug. My two sons both have this opinion of him. I watched the LF for a while when they'd entered the house and told my sons the next day that they had to watch the HL's because they will see just how funny Brian is. So we sat down to watch and, nothing. Barely anything to alter their opinions. Not the Nikki head banging, "she's dead" incident. Not the Nadia saying "I feel like an old lady" and his immediate reply of "well yes, you're old, but you're no lady" as he was walking past her bed. Oh I could go on but you know what I mean.
These early days are very important for forming opinions and, once people have a favourite, it's not normal for that to change. I fear for Brian in that respect. That said, I haven't picked up the phone once during any of the BB's since BB2 where I voted continuously for Brian to win. I shall be returning to my ways whenever Brian is up for a public vote and hitting redial until my fingers bleed!
Can you tell I really want Brian to win?!
My hope is that once some of the HMs have gone, They will have no option but to show more of Brian.
