Hi

I have a newish lcd in my kitchen fed via a 8way amp from the sky rf output and when i turn on the tv and put it on channel 6, if the sky box is switched off when i turn it on i get a picture but no sound,when i change channels from 6-5 then back again it works great.
Has any body got any ideas where to start.
PS 3 other tv's off the amp work fine

try going to where the distribution amp is and swapping the feed to the kitchen with a known working feed in another room

Don't turn your Sky box off then?.

It's 'possible' the TV defaults to 5.5MHz sound if it doesn't detect a 6MHz sound carrier?, when you change channels it looks again.
