Please Post a Comment on youtube about the swirly cameras for the BBC to see!

Sorry to start a new thread on a familiar topic, but wanted to catch your attention.

I've just noticed on youtube that the BBC have put up a couple of clips of this week's SCD. Kelly's Tango in particular suffered from the swirly cameras circling the dancers at the beginning, so I posted a comment on that page so the BBC people would notice it directly, as they do not bother to reply to emails or take note of our complaints regarding this issue, and continue to ruin our pleasure and enjoyment of the choreography by making us watch it through a haze of dizziness!

If you're registered there, and have an account, please post a comment, and hopefully there will be sooooo many, someone at the Beeb will eventually notice we're saying the same thing and are deeply unhappy about it.

Thank you.

Great idea and I've commented as well

Also might be worth clicking on the "thumbs up" for the comments already there, just in case the BBC do look.

Teeheehee. This is going to be fun! Whenever they post more such clips, we should bombard them with the stupid cameraworks comments!

Please continue posting comments at the link, or any of the BBC's other Strictly clips of performances, they seem to be putting up a few this series.

Can I just say that I fully agree with the awfulness of the swirly camera.
But having seen 'Mr swirly camerman' in action at the Eurovision Dance Contest rehearsal, goodness me but I found myself full of admiration for him.He ran around like a mad man,I would have got really dizzy! He was in and out of spaces at such speed that he couldn't have been able to see what he was doing, so he must know his stuff!I couldn't take my eyes off him...
However for us viewers,it is rubbish.

Probably not. But hey, if we harp on at them for years and years then maybe we'll get somewhere. No harm in trying

I've commented too.

The young girl responsible for camera work was interviewed recently on the BBC website.

She sounded very proud to be giving viewers so much pleasure through her work.

She obviously graduated at the 'Anything Goes' University.

Well done OP, I've thought for a while that the camera work has been rather annoying. I would actually like to see the whole dance, not just the bits the arty farty camera people think I should see. I will be voting too.

We've been complaining to the bBC for weeks about camera work.
It reached an all time low tonight when James Blunt was singing and we saw a fraction of the Professional dance.
Also when poor Camilla was almost bumping intot he camera on her slide. They even repeated that bit - they must have been so proud!

The production team clearly think they are a part of the entertainment, rater than the dancing.

I hope the You Tube comments have an effect- but i doubt it.
The arrogance of the Producer is overwhelming.
