Sorry if someone has already posted.

Has anyone been? What did you think?

I got tickets for one of the shows on the basis of having seen him on TV performing 'Judy Garland' numbers.

I thought he was great.

I saw him in Liverpool last week he (and band) were excellent. Seen him before in Manchester a few times. Shame he was only on GN for a bit.

I'm going to see him on Tuesday! Can't *wait*! I've seen him live a few times before and by the sound of it the show will be similar the one he did at the Old Vic last May, but I don't mind really.

I thought that the show and the band were great. It was indeed a pity that his appearance on GN was so brief.

Craigsgirl, I hope that you have a great time at the show.

Rufus Wainwright is one of my very favourite singers. He is a supremely talented songwriter and a fabulous performer who always gives his audience a concert to remember.
I saw him live this year and had a fantastic time. Anyone who is lucky enough to see him is in for a real treat!

I saw him last night in Birmingham, he was utterly fabulous!!!!
He did most of Release The Stars, a few off Want (the Art Teacher-yay!), Poses & Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk, two slow Judy Garland songs...just wait until you hear him do an old Irish folk song done in operatic style- NO MICROPHONE!!! Pure class.
Of course he comes back on after the encore with the white dressing gown on.....you know the rest!!!!

I took my 15 year old daughter who wasn't overly keen beforehand. Now she adores him!!!

Anyone who can get a ticket, go see him.
