I have not had my box when it changes to daylight saving. So will it work ok with already timered programmes before DLS occurs. I will be away. Hope medium records on sunday night as it is the delayed last episode.

Not England - Wales! I'm surprised because we're usually lumped under Very Distant Regional Broadcasting and have to wait the same as you. Hope it records OK - it was a good episode!

Checked all of my timed recordings, and all of the timers have now shifted back one hour. I am going to have to delete them all and redo them.

Which software version? I was quite amazed to see with v3.7 that the dst switching issues seem to have been fixed. I set a number of timers on Friday, some to fire off before the switch, some after and some during the switch (01:20(BST)-01:20(GMT) as it happens). I was surprised to find even the latter had recorded. Likewise all my timers for the following week (which I set last week) are all correct. And even the times shown in the library are all still correct - previously, I remember these all changing by an hour too. In summary, with v3.7 I have not experienced any dst switching problems at all.

Mine version 3.7 also managed the clock change reasonably well, the only problem is that a timer set deliberately to span the change......Jonathan Ross, is 3 Hours 13 Minutes in length.

That's one of the timers that I set too, and mine worked fine - I was expecting either it to stop right after starting, or keep going for 3 hours like yours did, but no it recorded for just under 1 hour, correctly. So, perhaps some regional transmitter differences involved, since this would seem like a now/next accurate recording failure.

Yep agree...would appear to have missed the end trigger, and therefore carried on recording for a further 2 Hours, as per the runaway recording specification.

The same problem happens with 5.3
I had to delete and redo all my timers too. Fortunately I only had seven of them. Changing the start and end times wasn't really an option as it looses the association with the programmes so e.g. Top Gear would just be displayed as BBC TWO.
This doesn't sound like something that would be hard to fix. I guess they've lost interest in updating this box though

Although, IIRC, in this case the start times of all recordings in the library will have changed by an hour too, so are incorrect.

If I remember correctly I think the beeb said Medium would be back in 3 weeks so 4th November hopefully
Now it's changed to Summer time, my PVR80 (T810), v5.3, displays the correct time on the front display, but the timer recordings have been set one hour forward, i.e. they're recording one hour later than they should. Also the times on the library recordings have also been changed to one hour on - hardly a problem but interesting.
It's just like the old days when I forgot to reset the VCR clock, and it made set recordings at the wrong time!

Unfortunately, this was one of the early bugs in the Vestel software - obviously harder for the end user to test as it can only be tested twice a year. Anybody using the newer T810 v5.6 software care to comment? Maybe one of the fixes was for these DST issues, considering Vestel did fix these previously for the T816 (in v3.7 at least).

They are on my Digihome PVR 80, software version 5.6
Set my DTR160 for a 02.40am early hours Sunday test record and it recorded the correct program.
The official clock time change in the UK is 02.00 hours.
