Ok, let's break it down for those who haven't seen it yet - the "new" mobile phone company from the Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone.

You choose how much you want to pay each month.

£12, £15 or £18 pounds per month.

You choose the contract length 9, 12 or 18 months.

The longer the contract, the better handset you can get.

If you choose a 9 month contract, you can get a Motorola W220 or Samsung C300.

If you choose a 12 month contract, you can get a Motorola V3 Razr(seriously) or a Samsung E250.

An 18 month contract will get you a LG Chocolate KG800 or a Nokia 6300.

Now, the fun part.

£12 a month gets you 50 inclusive minutes.

£15 a month gets you 75 inclusive minutes.

(can you see where i'm going here ? )

£18 a month gets you .. 100 inclusive minutes.

You get the equivalent in inclusive texts, but you get 500 free texts a month to other talkmobile customers.

When you inevitably use up your inclusive minutes, it becomes little more than a bog standard PAYG tariff.

Flat rate of 20p per minute to landlines/mobiles and texts are usual price.

Now I accept they've only launched, but I can see absolutely NOTHING appealing about this - the amount of minutes you're given, for the price you pay is utterly ridiculous.

I know O2 do a contract where it's a 30 day rolling deal, and you can cancel at any time, and if you're after a contract deal with no long term commitment, i'd go with that rather than this one because it's just not worth it.

LMAO an LG Chocolate phone for an 18 month tarriff!!! that is absolutely ridiculous for a network that doesnt even offer its customers 3G.

Most networks offer you the new Sony Ericsson K850i or the Samsung G600 for the same length of contract.

Just go with the O2 tarriff and buy a new PAYG handset.
