I saw that in the Planet Waite thread, but reading it I'm now unsure?

Is Anton really married to Erin, I thought she had a serperate boyfriend?

Quote:
“His long-term dance partner and wife is Strictly Come Dancing co-star, professional Erin Boag who was teamed with ex-professional snooker player Willie Thorne before they were voted out last week. Always massively ambitious, Anton and Erin were ranked in the world's top 24 and he is known for his smooth talking and his gentlemanly behaviour towards his partners.”

Anyone know hether this is true or not? Just curious...

It's just the Daily Mail getting their facts wrong. Loads of errors in that article.

Thanks, Quizmike! I also noticed they spelt Nicole's name wrong... Nicola Butler indeed. If I was Nicole I would be offended!

I believe Erin and Anton used to be a couple, years ago <certainly not married>.

Don`t these reporters check their facts?

Obvoiusly not, thats really out of order to claim someone's married when they're not!

Or to insinuate that some left their fiance for someone else when they didn't!

On an aside and just out of curiousity...what makes a picnic basket gay? Sorry, I've just never heard of that expression before.

I read somewhere that Anton and Erin were engaged once but now they're just dance partners....and Erin does have a boyfriend. I don't know whether Ian's 'gay' rumours are true....better ask Craig!!!

Lol...just reread the article and the word "wife" has been taken out of the Anton and Erin bit. Also, Nicole is no longer a Butler! Still got the bit about Denise and Ian in there though.

Are the Mail running short staffed at the moment, or was it bring your daughter to work day in the sub-editing department?

So the Mail is adjusting the article as we speak

I hope they are reading this forum(not that i flatter us that they will).

And Nicholas Parsons is still listed as a contestant last year.

I think it's nice to see a Wikipedia style of journalism

Probably in the Daily Mail, they've certainly said it before, it's the only place I've ever seen it.

So, shall we let on about all their other mistakes? Or shall we let the terminally pointless Lisa Sewards ("journalist" my eye! She makes Liz Jones look like a valuable Mail employee!) chase her own tail for the rest of the day trying to discover how many more factual errors she might have made?!

The Daily Mail is a laughing stock of a rag, and they must realise that this sort of sloppiness is the reason why.

When you go picnic, it's often a fun (i.e. gay) times. Oftentimes the baskets are filled with colourful and 'happy' things, so the expression gay as a picnic basket!

I made up the explanation...

Yes, I just spied the "Nicholas Parsons" thing. Awful. I have a huge feeling to write a letter, how can they get away with writing something with so many errors in?

They wrote an SCD article yesterday full of false accusations, too.

And also what were the two engagements that were broken off in series one, according to the Daily Mail? I'm well aware of one, but what was the other?

I feel the same too. I hate it when they get stuff wrong.

Brendan and Camilla
Natasha and boyfriend, or weren't they engaged?

EDIT: The link isn't working now, perhaps they're changing the article.
