We had the 'Is Anton gay' discussion in our (Anton lovers) thread earlier this week and the conclusion is a resounding NO. Amongst us are his dance students, people who know his friends, and even a lady who claims to have snogged him. He was quite open to the press about his relationship with Caroline (they appeared together as a couple quite a few times). He also often jokes about his mishaps on asking girls out as a young man... very funny stories.

If I have to pick a woman for our man I would pick Erin - but I think he prefers leggy blondes...

Innocent Fairy --- Would you please clarify re Ian having had at least one serious relationship with a female. Not asking who she was just is this for real?

Regardless of Ian's sexual orientation, he's still fab, but, it would certainly raise a few hopes up if he was bi rather all out gay.

Also, have to say, I've never heard the 'gay as a picnic basket' expression either. SCD --- kind of like your explanation. Ian comes across as happy, and some of his shirts are definitely colourful.

I tend to say "camp as a marquee" - I like the picnic basket image though!

i was suprised to hear colin was gay. he's a lovely sweet natured man. i know its only recently he's been outed rather than telling so himself so i hope he's ok as i believe he's quite a private man so the experience must have been difficult for him.

Not true about Anton and Erin. They have never even dated, let alone been engaged. She does have a boyfriend though - that part is true.
