So who went last night? Personnally, I thought it was a great night although, and I say this as a lifelong Beatles fan, I do believe his voice is starting to show signs of wear. He seemed to struggle on some of the higher notes in things like Band On The Run. Nevertheless, a brilliant show and a great band.

I caught this by chance on telly and thoroughly enjoyed (and sang along to) every minute of it.

I kept wishing he'd do 'The Long And Winding Road', sadly he didn't.

But it was a great show, the crowd seemed to love it and so did I. Brilliant as ever.

I'm a bit confused now.

I've just read an NME review that said Paul did play 'The Long And Winding Road' (my favourite), yet I didn't hear it in the TV show.

Was the show put on live and I had a blackout for 3 minutes or was it recorded and the song cut out?

No.
The Long And Winding Road was on the version I watched via the red Button on BBC1.
Perhaps you were at the loo or left briefly to cut yourself a sandwich.
Or both.

At the actual gig Paul did a 23 song set that lasted around 1 hrs 40 mins:

Magical Mystery Tour
Flaming Pie
Got To Get You Into My Life
Dance Tonight
Only Mama Knows
C'Moon
Long and Winding Road
I'll Follow The Sun
That Was Me
Here Today
Blackbird
Calico Skies
Eleanor Rigby
Band On The Run
Back In The USSR
House of Wax
I Got A Feeling
Live and Let Die
Hey Jude
---
Let It Be
Lady Madonna
I Saw Her Standing There
---
Get Back

But the show of his concert on BBC2 only went on for an hour, so Long & Winding Road was one of a number of songs that missed the cut.

C Moon is one of my favourite Macca solo songs

It doesn't get much airplay for some reason.

They missed out Baby Face on the set list. He did it just before Hey Jude, introducing it as "Here's one you can sing along to". Afterwards, he said "This is the one I meant you to join in on".
I watched the BBC2 show when I got back from the gig and yes, they cut quite a few.
