First Bt Bill - paying ahead?
Hey,
Just got my first BT Bill. On it is line rental for october - as well as for the next 2 months! Is it normal to pay in advance? |

I asked for monthly direct debit when ordering a line a couple of days ago..... Do they actually do monthly direct debit, or is it always quarterly?

When I was with BT this is what I opted for, as did other family members and friends. To the OP all phone providers you pay line rental in advance and call charges in arrears. |

Thanks for that.
Hopefully the lady on the phone put me on the correct monthly option, hopefully they manage to activate it when they said they are going to too

Question for the OP, have you registered at the BT website? if not then it's worth doing so.
When I had my line put in a few years ago I registered with the BT website and I have total control on how I pay and I can change all my options and so on. I also don't get a phone bill, I went for the paperless option so the only way to check my calls is via the website. All I get is an email telling me my payment is due. |
