Katie and Ant were surprising
But did they set temperatures rising?
Are Aliona and Jay
Well on their way
Needs much thought and philosophising

I had high hopes of Natalie and Ainsley
But sadly and much how it pains me
Despite Ainsley’s chat
Their soufflé fell flat
Was it drama or was it a parody?

Moving on to Iwan and Ola
I’m rather inclined to holler
You’re not all that good
And perhaps someone should
Race you off with a hand on your collar

Kevin’s choreo leaves me befuddled
Darcy’s comments oft leave me bustled
Kellie seems Bright
She might get it right
Was that a tango – I’m puzzled

What do we think of Anita?
The four rooms meeter and greeter
She did pretty well
And yet who can tell
Just who is up there to beat her?

So we come to Dan and Kristina
He has charm and a humble demeanour
But humble can be
Quite boring to me
I wish he could be somewhat keener.

I hoped much from Carol and Pasha
But it was a bit of a crasher
Was Giovanni the Italian
More foal than a stallion
Though I quite liked Georgia the flasher.

Consider Jamelia and Tristan
Had I blinked once I’d have missed ‘em
Jamelia’s not tops
When it comes to the pops
Would you have dissed ‘em or kissed ‘em

’m concerned about Anthony’s shoulder
Looked like he’d been hit by a bolder
Do Pete and Janette
Look a good bet
But what about somebody older?

Jeremy surely showed energy
But I wonder what is Karen’s strategy
Is it perchance
A dad who can dance
Or no more than a dancing wannabe?

Moving on to Kirsty and Brendan
They weren’t great but if you’re a Cole fan
He might bring out her best
Pass the ultimate test
If anyone can I think Brendan can.

Just one couple left H&A
That’s Helen and Al by the way
Their waltz was a zinger
But is she a ringer?
Perhaps, perhaps not who can say.

So many options and choices
In my head I keep hearing voice
Kirsty and Brendan
Or is Dan the man?
Time to put money where mouth is

Time for old limerickers to join in

There once was a dancer named Daniel
Who rather resembled a spaniel
His nerves ran amok
He shivered and shuck
And looked like he needed a manual.
