Asda Mobile/Vodafone
Could someone tell me will an Asda Mobile Sim card work in a Vodafone phone as they are on the same network. I know that there was an issue at one time with TMobile and Virgin...... you could put a virgin sim into a Tmobile phone but not the other way around.
Does anyone know |

It all depends whether the phone is locked to the Network or to the Service Provider. So some phones will work and others won't.

Well my phone is locked to O2 but a Tesco sim does work in it. I think its something to do with the main networks (O2, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange) all use 1 lock on their phones so if there is any virtual networks running off them, then the locked phones may accept the virtual sim as long as it runs off the network the phone is locked to. But the virtual networks use 2 locks which is why for example you can put a Tesco sim into a locked O2 phone but not the other way round
