02 " 40 " Tariff do mins and text carry forward still
coopermanyorks

I used to have an 02 pay monthly around 2 years ago that carried forward unused inclusive texts and mins for 3 months (rollover)

This then dropped to 30 days rolled over , someone told me now they don't roll over at all , if you don't use them in the month they are lost ?

Can anyone confirm which it is ?

Although with the number of free minutes and sms they give these days, do you really need roll-overs?

If I have x amount to roll over I let my son lose on them to use them up

My wife and daughter both have on-line 30 accounts with no roll-over.

From O2 tariff terms for Pay Monthly -

Quote:
“9. Unused inclusive minutes, data and messages cannot be carried forward one month to the next on any tariffs. Existing customers transferring tariffs will lose any accrued rollover allowance.”

I just rang them and as you said there is NO rollover mins or texts on my 02 40 contract

However the nice man on the phone offered me FREE anytime 02 to 02 calls , He couldn't set it up as the system was cream crackerd , he has put notes on my file (hopefully ) and requested I ring back in a few hours to get it sorted and added

I work for o2 and can tell you that we do not have 'rollovers' on ANY current tariff.

Maybe you mean on any New tariffs sold

I bet people on older existing tariffs still get rollovers

Perhaps you should have read my message.

I did ..............your wording was open to interpretation , I was seeking to clarify if it was all new tariffs or if people on existing tariffs / contracts still enjoyed the rollover , as your comment seemed at odds with my call to Cs yesterday

Maybe it depends who you speak to ?

From my call to CS yesterday there are still people on " Current " contracts that enjoy rollover mins and will continue to do so until the end of there current contract , as 02 are unable to make drastic changes to a contract mid term , as this allows customers to cancel their contract without penalty . ( The Cs words to me )

I have done just that , only 2 months into a 12 month contract they stopped the use of 0870 and 0845 as part of inclusive minutes , invoking the get out clause.
