Matt & Flavia were way more deserving of a 10! Bruno gets carried away and it's annoying! He did it last year too, giving Louisa a 10 for her jive in week 3.
The guy is losing all credibility as an impartial judge.

it also made the other judege look a bit silly as they all stuck to giving 8's even though it was a good dance and kinda stuck 2 fingers up to everyone!

If you dont respect the rules of the dance you may as well just let everyone dance freestyle of every week.
Rules are there to provide a framework within which the dance can be judged - if people break them and are not penalised, they why bother having them |

Bruno SHOULD NOT have given K&B a 10 - 3 lifts when you are only allowed 2 - Bruno knows the rules, Brendon knows the rules - they are as bad as each other - the rules are there for a reason and both parties should stick to them - Bruno should be made to withdraw his 10 and give them a 9

Plus ca change, plus c'est la memme chose. Brendan breaks the rules every year & seems to get away with it. Unfortunatley the fact that he appears to gewtg public backing; never mind the support from planet Bruno, just seems to encourage him to carry on doing it.
As has already been said, the only way to finally drive home to him that his behaviour isn't on would be to ensure that every time he broke the rules in this manner, he ended up, if not bpttom, but at least in the bottom two with the judges. As Len has said, twice, doughnut. |

Its a shame though because without that lift it probably would have deserved straight 9s. |

I think it's time that Bruno was booted off the show. I could've judged tonight better than him

Kelly said when she was standing next to Bruce that she knew they were breaking the rules

It's not fair for Kelly either - people tend to blame the celeb when the judges do this sort of thing.
Very bad Bruno! ![]() |

B&K broke the rules and should have been marked down... They aren't responsible for Bruno being a idiot though...
I'm a big Brendan fan and trust me I haven't been more angry at him, last year he was just being a pain, this year he has NO RIGHT because Kelly is amazing and this could have been the best dance... But still you can't blame Brendan for the other idiot on the show... Both need to have a slap... |

To be honest, I didn't even notice the extra lift (shows how much notice I was taking!
But then again, I was having to contend with the ruddy words to the song being plastered across the screen on Sky - I should have switched to the terrestrial BBC1). But when it was pointed out I thought that all the judges should have awarded a point lower as punishment (not against Kelly, although she must have known about the rules ... , but against Brendan's actions). If Brendan made a mockery of the rules then Bruno compounded the problem with his mark. ![]() To be honest, I preferred Matt and Flavia's anyway and Alesha and Matthew's. I would have placed Kelly and Brendan third behind those two. (Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed all three, but preferred the other two incrementally). And I really liked Penny and Ian's 60's inspired dance!

I do hate to bring facts into the discussion but they didn't exactly get away with anything regardless of some of the OTT comments on here. ![]() Bruno's a plonker...but it would be silly to blow one extra point out of proportion wouldn't it? |

I never said you were blaming Kelly. I was agreeing with you and adding a point that people that already dislike Kelly will blame her.
On reflection, Bruno isn't stupid maybe he doesn't really like Kelly and is hoping for a "Emma/Zoe" type backlash. Whereby she will be percieved as a judges pet and no matter how good she dances the public won't vote for her because of it!! |

Bruno is the judge I have the LOWEST opinion of on the whole panel (going back to QuickstepGate when he gave a 10 to Zoe despite her basic faux pas of "gapping" in SCD3
) A 10 from him in virtualy meaningless in my opinion and certainly no indication of perfection. Added to that altho I don't really have a lot of time for Len Goodman, Bruno would not let the man get a single word out this evening before interrupting him and he does the exact same thing on DWTS

And three out of four judges marked Kelly & Brendan down for their heinous rule-break.
