billy zane, he cant be that good when he has the time to sit and watch kelly every week and moan about brendan.

People that successful and famous would surely have their own work commitments to be at rather than following his girlfriend round

Phillip Jackson didnt even notice the first lift until Erin pointed it out to him. It was hardly anything special.
Brendan was a fool to even include it in the routine.

Bruno an even bigger doughnut for giving the routine a 10.
Is he purposely trying to spoil their chances or has his head got so big he just gets carried away?

Id quite like to see kelly dance near the beginning next time too. I wonder if that will effect the marks the judges give her.

I think Kelly was in on it - yet another publicity stunt. Bruno was the doughnut (Len's words - not mine) for falling for it.

Sadly I agree with you. What other reason would there be for doing 3 lifts?

I was becoming so frustrated until your post said exactly what I was thinking. It was a great dance worthy of max 9s across-the-board.

But the extra lift has got us all in a tizzy and talking only about Brendan and Kelly (oh and Bruno - and I bet that wasn't in B&K's script and could definitely have spoilt it). The judges penalise the PERFECT dance - without Brendan and Kelly having actually having to dance the perfect American Smooth - clever !!!

The papers will be full of Kelly and talk of 'the extra lift'. Bad boy Brendan will fill our Sunday newspapers. ITT will endless discuss the lift and naughty boy Brendan.

I believe it was totally calculated and have no respect for them because of their gamesmanship.

I just emailed BBC to ask them what they are going to do about Bruno's increasingly bizarre behaviour/scoring.

TBH I don't think it was for publicity... They get enough anyway... They changed their dance so much by the sound of it and the first lift was so pathetic I think they thought they could fool everyone into believing it wasn't really a lift...

If it was some big lifting Kelly above his head move then maybe... I just think they were stupid and thought they'd get away with it and Bruno was, well Bruno...

I'd be interested to know what answer you get! I am willing to bet it will be some fob-off though!

Brendan's excuse last year was that he knew him and Claire had no chance of winning. So he wanted to go out entertaining the audience and if that meant including illegal moves, c'est la vie.
He must feel that he is in with a chance this year, so no idea why he had to become a donut, unless bribed of course! Claudia will get great mileage on ITT.
I am a huge Brendan fan but feel very shocked. Am sure he would have expected to be marked down. Bruno is an even bigger donut in my opinion though.

I think all that flying to and from America every week must be affecting Bruno. The Man is getting more and more bizzare!

Never thought the day would come when I prefer listening to Craig rather than bonkers Bruno.

I find the whole issue of this Kelly love-in absolutely insulting to the general public. Do the BBC seriously think we are not aware how biased this series is?

I wouldn't bother picking up the phone to vote because it is clear they are trying to keep one couple in the competition through blatant manipulation of the scores.

Yes Kelly is a good dancer, but a 10? I don't think so. Particularly a 10 after an illegal move.

Yes. He was bad last year, really bad, but now he has gone bonkers.

How is one judge giving her a 10 a Kelly love-in??? Especially when the judge in question is Bruno???

Some people are making it out she got a perfect 40... But she didn't she was marked down by three judges... Bruno said it himself he couldn't help himself...

I don't think the BBC have to manipulate the votes to keep Kelly and Brendan in. They are one of the strongest couples and the dance was worthy of an 8 after deduction for the illegal lift.
I saw the 10 as Bruno being a complete plonker!

Personally I think Alesha can out-dance Kelly a million times over, yet for some reason Kelly scores very close to her - or in this case - above her. The whole 'Kelly and Brendon Show' has become tiresome. Her name is dropped in at every opportunity and illegal moves are made to gain more notoriety.

And am I the only one who finds Billy Zane just a little bit creepy?

I totally agree with you! Both about Alesha being able to out-dance Kelly (A&M's rumba was so much better than K&B) and also about Billy Zane. I know they're engaged, but the way he is there every week without fail comes across as stalker-ish!

I really hope Claudia makes Bruno justify giving Brendan and Kelly the 10 tonight. Even my husband was cross with that, it was totally unfair on the other couples

It just made me laugh when Bruno said "I can't help myself!" and held up his 10. I was really pleased he did it.

Bruno is such a PRAT!!!

Another Brendon trick to try keep them in the newspapers!!

I think Bruno was wrong the whole sodding night, so that all he could give was a 10 to K&B as he had been so wrong the majority of the show!

When Bruno and Len started having words after the first dance of the evening one just knew it was not going to be a great night with them!

Send them to ITV if they`re going to squabble like kids !

I'm not sure creepy is the right word but everytime I see him I think of James Mason - but with less hair.
