FM Transmitter
Paperhouse
27-10-2007
I was thinking of using an FM transmitter (the type usually used to play an MP3 player in a car) to relay TV sound to my portable radio in the bathroom. It would need to transmit through only one wall. Should it work?

I use two of these at home and they work fine, even through a brick wall into the garage.

Infact, they can be picked up in the car to the top of the street!

That sounds good, I was thinking of getting one of these. What make and model do you have?

However, I also have a cheapo no name thing bought off ebay for £5 and it works fine too.

It should work fine. I have one of these and they're excellent, both in range (10-30 metres) and sound quality (good clear stereo):
