I didn't see what was so wrong with the dance. Granted it wasn't the quality of Kelly and Brendan or Matt and flavia, but I don't think it deserved the comments ot the low scores it got.

agree, they weren't that bad . I personally didn't spot the mistake(s).

It wasn't that bad! it wasn't the best routine but i really didn't notice all these timing errors and they did not deserve to be third from bottom! I am petrified that they're gonna go tonight!

It wasn't that bad, but John made a bit of a mess with the last lift near the end,...I actually thought he was going to drop Nicole,...luckily that didn't happen. I guess that got them the low marks.

John didn't look as comfortable as he did on previous dances, the judges mentioned he messed up somewhere early on but I didn't spot it. His posture was better than I thought it would be but I kept thinking 'smile John'.
I think he's a cert for bottom 2 though but hopefully he can do it better second time and stay in. He has potential to become a good ballroom dancer I think.

Actually they might not, as the slating might have really helped them with the GBP. I didn't see all the mistakes either, and I thought it was unfair that none of the judges commented on the improved posture (obvious to a non-dancer like me.

It was dreadful, like he had switched off. I felt so sorry for Nicole.

They were not bad, they were a dissaster...

How anyone can say John danced well beggars belief.

He looks like a sack of potatoes moving across the floor.

GET REAL

It wasn't that bad, they both looked gutted at the judges comments (hopefully they will get a few sympathy votes for that !!) I know he nearly dropped her at the end but what was the other mistake ?

i like John but that it was bad. Not just his posture even his foot work was a little off.
There were still worse dancers so i don't think he will be in the bottom 2 but lets hope he does better next week!

I can't remember the exact time but during the backstage interview Nicole looked properly gutted.
John and Nicole really deserve another week.

OTT a bit there.

Erin and Philip Jackson enjoyed it .

Kate , bless her was a disaster , Kenny 's was a hoot , like Peter last year .

I didn't think it was that bad at all, and even with watching it back, i can't spot a mistake with his feet - only place i could think it was was at the end of the first lift when the camera is off his feet.

What i don't get is why they kept that 2nd lift in as in the rehearsals clip before he did the same thing a few times - so why didn't they change it? I'm sure there's a lift there he could have easily done.

With luck, there will not be a next week for him.

How can anyone have any sympathy for a celeb who by his own admission does not like training and only puts in a few hours a day.

He is in it for the easy money.

Personally wasn't that bad for me but also why didn't the judges give him any good points to work on? The comments were all criticisms not much use for John. I have to say I hope they don't go this week I really like them as a couple

I didnt think it was as bad as the judges said-they were such a pain tonight.
Not at all amusing or attractive.

In your opinion - some folk like him/ the dance.

It personally didn't excite me i found the music to be a bit slow and the lift at the end i was a bit
But i didn't expect the judges to be so harsh on him!

Thing is though - when penny gave a poor jive everyone was like aww its just not your dance! perhaps a/s isn't johns dance but in other ballroom he'd be better but alas, no mention of that!

John basically stood still and Nicole rang rings round him like he was a maypole. By comparison Kate did a great deal more work, so had more shortcomings of technique exposed.

No. John was okay. Yes he was a bit lacklustre and dull but unlike Kate he didn't fall and have to be caught and his posture was good.

I didn't think that John and Nicole were that bad - but John didn't look as easy and natural as he usually does. Maybe he'll just do better with the latin dances.

I noticed that, and she had the same look whenever anyone came up to talk to Tess. They didn't even get any good comments or points to work on - they were just panned and with some others getting lots of praise and ridiculously high marks, no wonder she felt dejected.

Unkind picture coming into head - little Nicole Cutler trying to catch John Barnes. Roadkill...
