Sorry but even if you don't like her to say that she moves like a walrus is a joke- she has great arms and her placement is generally good- not very often Brendan has to pull her round the floor.

I think kelly is a good dancer....she isn't the best on there though, i dont think there is a clear "best dancer" yet, but she is very very good!

What annoys me is after she's finished dancing and she gets good comments and is like "oh my god, really, no way i was so nervous"... I'm sure its genuine but it comes across as really really fake!! Its like yeah everyone was nervous and most are surprised when they get good comments and marks but just please stop saying it out loud, its making me really not like her

I think this thread has been started in an attempt to attract attention. I'm sorry I'm not a Kelly and Brendan fan (quite the opposite), but this is a tad ridiculous, isn't it. The woman can clearly dance, whether this is due to her previous training, talent or other things. If you don't like her and Brendan, just say so and move on.

John is far better yes. John has technique and works hard at what he does. Kelly gets Billy Zane to pay the producers and judges and get points.

I'm not a huge Kelly fan - mainly because I don't like Brendan - but the girl can dance (she's had prior dance experience too) - but she can dance.

Thanks. This year stricly has become rather ridiculous. People are saying such funny and irrational things. So far all these threads have endeared Kelly to me (and I didn't like her to start with). It's downright hilarious.

Ok, I take it serious then. Why can't she dance. Explain it to me in simple, non-offensive language (e.g. don't refer to walrusses or whatever). I'm listening and interested.

She moves badly. She is out of rhythm and needs a partner to lead her. She changes footwork continuously and is like a robot at times trying to stop herself and start again. She must have the centrifugal force of a hurricane because she struggles like that. She does nothing that represents the dance.

In fact, she plays it safe throughout and lets Brendan do the work so the judges have nothing to criticise her for.

I am sure you will come back with "oh come on, you can't seriously believe that", but I truly believe she is playing cautious and does nothing that is commendable because she sticks to quick technicalities and her partner to do the hard work.

I agree, i'm not a fan of Gabby by any means, but she is a good dancer like Kelly, and personally i wouldnt dream of starting a thread saying she cant. At the end of the day, there learners and they have to be admired for having the guts to get on that dancefloor live on tv
