He's got a collapsed lung after doing a backflip of some sorts on stage in Milan. Apparently doctors aren't sure when he'll be fit enough to return to stage, so it's just Gary, Jason and Mark at the moment.

Ouch.

Definetly not a TT fan but still I hope he's better for the British dates- a LOT of DSrs will be sad if he isn't.

In effect, it was his own fault.

Serves him right for being one of a completely talentless old trio, making millions off the back of the fact that Gary Barlow can sing.

I'd be really disappointed if I had tickets. I think Howard's the best singer of all of them.

Poor Howard. A man at work had that happen to him too. Apparently tall, thin men are more prone to it - although why I have NO idea.

It took the man at work weeks to recover fully No more backflips for Howard if he makes it back onto the tour.

And it will be your own fault next time you hurt yourself.

Here's hoping.

I suspect you are a male - you always make negative comments cos you can't bear that they're rich, talented and successful.

It is so obvious.

He's 39 years old. He should know better.
Silly old sod.

He was doing a backflip.
He's 39.
It was his fault.

I'm 40 and I ice skate regularly. And not just the going around in circles kind of ice skating. Just because you're not 20 anymore, doesn't mean you should turn into a couch potato.

Hmmm, I know a guy who had it happen twice, and he's tall and thin. Don't think he was doing backflips, though. He's a barrister.

Do you think it has to do with his age?

There was absolutely no necessity for such a nasty, personal response.

If I try backflips at 39, it will be my fault and I'll take it on the chin!

Clearly you feel that Howard, Mark and the other old bloater are actually talented. I urge you to explain to me these talents. What are they? Being in the right place at the right time?

I also implore you to honestly say that you believe any of the Take That members, other than Gary Barlow, can sing.

I'm not jealous of the band, far from it. Good luck to them. I just don't like the fact that 3 of the 4 are completely talentless, and are effectively skinning off Gary Barlow!

Oh heavens above!

Why do you disagree?

You can't merely state that you agree or disagree with somebody and neglect to give any reasoning for such.

Howard is feeling much better as he is now out of hospital and is hoping to re-join the rest of the band on wednesday, although it's not yet known when he will be back on stage. It is thought that he will be ok for the Uk dates.
