Hi everyone! I don't think we've had this thread so far this year - or if so I haven't noticed it. I thought it was time to bring it back.

What are YOUR SCORES for this week's couples.

Here is the opinion of Judge Peach.

Kelly & Brendan - 9
I thought this dance was beautifully choreographed. They looked gorgeous on the floor. I do feel the last lift was beautiful but perhaps they could have cut the first one to make it fit in with the rules! I guess the point does have to come off for the rulebreaking much as I loved the performance. Also though I felt Kelly stayed on her toes a little too much.. she still managed to use the floor but with hardly any heels (if any!)

Matt & Flavia - 9
Excellent 'Smooth'. I was very impressed by Matt (Is something romantic going on between him and Flavia?). It was elegant and flowed beautifully.

Matt & Alisha - 8
I thought this was performed well... not quite together but a charming performance.

Penny & Ian - 8
I loved this interpretation of the Samba. It suited Penny and her basic technique was very good.

Gethin & Camilla - 7
I thought Gethin tried really hard... his hips moved! He was enjoying the dance and I loved the choreography to the music particularly at the start.

Letitia & Darren - 7
I thought this was again very elegant. I agreed with the judges over the shoulders thing. But much better thn the previous weeks.

Gabby & James 7
I disliked this performance. I agree Gabby is technically very good but it is all mechanical.. there is no feeling. She flitted about the surface in the Samba - no real feeing to the dance.

Dom & Lilia 6
Not elegant enough for me though he did try to bring out his personality. I am getting tired of the 'cheeky' aspect to him.

Kenny & Ola 6
I liked this Samba. I thought it worked well for him and it was a fun routine.

Nicole & John - 6
I thought John attempted to be smooth but I found the routine quite plain and he lost his footing a few times.

Kate & Anton - 5
Really enjoyed this performance. Technically it wasn't great but I enjoyed watching it and look forward to see the improvement each week.

Kelly & Brendan - 7
It was a beautiful dance, beautifully done but I feel there were too many lifts. It was nice and it really surprised me as I'm not usually keen on Kelly & Brendan but a few points off for rulebreaking. I enjoyed it overall though.

Matt & Flavia - 8
Fantastic. Matt is brilliant for someone so young. It was really, really brilliant. I think he could go a long way in SCD

Matt & Alisha - 7
Overall a very good attempt. Sometimes they seemed a bit of out sync with eachother but I'm sure they can improve on that.

Penny & Ian - 8
Loved it. Made me want to get up and dance. It was fast, funky and cool. Great work from both Penny and Ian. Brilliantly choreographed and very different to what everyone elses samba

Gethin & Camilla - 7
Gethin is getting more and more confident and willing to try new things. He made a very good attempt at the samba and again, will more training will continue to improve. He really enjoyed himself too and that showed.

Letitia & Darren - 7
Again a great improvement and more confidence from Letitia. Well danced with some fantastic choreography. Will continue to improve.

Gabby & James 6
A good performance but nothing really stood out about it. It was all a bit "samey". Gabby's a great dancer but it just didnt stand out for me.

Dom & Lilia 7
Dominic again made a fantastic effort-I loved the fact that he always manages to combine his personality into the dance. He looked like he was really enjoying it and dance itself was brilliant too.

Kenny & Ola 6
Kenny continues to improve this week. A good attempt at a samba.

Nicole & John - 7
I quite like John-there is something about him that makes me always glued to the TV when he dances. He's got charm, charisma and confidence and I hope will continue to improve.

Kate & Anton - 4
This performance could have potential to be great if Kate had made more of an effort. She's still holding back and I think she knows she is. Anton carried her through this dance. I think shes capable of great things if she'd only try.

Matt & Flavia were probably best on the night though...so perhaps a 9,5 for them

Matt and flavia 9 (could not fault it in any department)

Alesha and Matt 9 (not quite as good as above)

Kelly and Brendan 7 (8 without the lifts, the lifts were the best bits !)

Gabby and James 7 (Not the best on the night but I thought there was little wrong with it)

penny and ian 7 (good samba bounce but was as gangly as the jive in parts)

Gethin and Camilla 6 (what does this lad have to do to please the judges I know go to stage school and sing in a girl band)

I agree, but would have said Letitia's quality was the same as Gethin and way above the bottom 4.

Matt and Flavia -9 -although the lifts were good, he looked petrified at the beginning. He seems to look rather pale when he starts dancing doesnt he?

Alesha and Matt -8, A nice effort, I found it lacked Aleshas usual sparkle but was still very good

Letitia and Darren -8, good choreography, surprisingly good lifts and they both seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves

Dominic and Lilia - 7, was alright -the bum grabber stuffs getting a bit old now...

John and Nicloe -6, oh dear, not too good at all

Penny and Ian -7, I like them but hated this dance

Gabby and James 7 -body movements too erratic and 'hard' for the samba but a good overall job

Gethin and Camilla- 7 -just kind of reminded me of his cha cha and I didnt see the amazing hips I was expecting

Kelly and Brendan - 8, barely any heel leads and an illegal lift. Wasnt worth a 10 even if they hadnt broke the rules IMO.

Kate and Anton -4, ruddy awful.

Oh, Kenny and Ola- 5, strangely entertaining. Len was actually right -some moments were okay - his bounce wasnt as bad as expected! But stillbelow parr!

Her basic technique was just that - basic.

I havent quite figured out why (even though you blatantly insulted my favourites last year) I cant be annoyed at your off the cuff remarks?

I think it's because the dancers I criticise, I want them to do well.
